Another fail 5-second video fix for this bad Don Draper TV ad from @sharefile... youtube.com/watch?v=lqisxtCA… because they don't understand YouTube.
The first 2 seconds of the smooth jazz logo intro scream AD with "When we started using ShareFile ..." + feels like from detergent or coffee commercials from the 70s.
"When Jim and I were first married, we decided to drink Folgers coffee and our life changed completely..."
After three years on the road in an RV as a family, trust me, I understand the costs ... so this @RVRepairClub ad makes sense, but was way too skippable for YouTube... so I fixed it: youtu.be/CWU_JtzfDNo
That was a fun 5-second ad fix for YouTube ... but I'm pretty sure @loom & @NotionHQ will never accept it, even if it's true. youtu.be/I-GqDHk5Gi4
I'm deep in the zone with @ShopifyDevs right now, so this ad from @debutify was pushed to me youtu.be/9ui7nHw5HBI ... again, hitting the skip button was what I wanted to do when the first 10 seconds were listing features.
Here, I fixed it.
While researching a product management tool for @Shopify, @YTAdvertisers pushed this ad from Ergonote to me. Even I, who was initially interested, nearly skipped, but I decided to save it to reedit it: youtu.be/eZuJsdV_JyU
Ads that don't grab attention in the first five seconds have the skip button. Period.
I used @weareshiphero with one of my @Shopify clients, and it's incredibly powerful... but this ad of theirs? Skippable. Quickly fixed it. youtube.com/watch?v=whL68ZEo…
I have wool socks, and they are... just the best, so I think this @GRIP6_ YouTube ad shouldn't be easily skippable. Here's my attempt to fix the first 5 seconds: youtube.com/watch?v=WiclndCE…
You can sense the AI behind this ad, making it even easier to skip. This quick reedit has made it (a little) less likely to: youtube.com/watch?v=BJSVtJga…
