A better shot of some of the cards I bought in bulk boxes at a yard sale this weekend for $100 #MTG #winning

It's easy to share the "things I got" updates because I can take pics of them, but I also really enjoyed the #Stargate panel hosted by @dial_the_gate as well as the various #XMen panels. And @maro254's Blogatog Live panels are always a fun peek behind the #MTG design curtain.

As always with #SDCC, I'm both happy to be home and sad that we're now a full year away from the next one. I'll keep an eye on some con follow-ups, but then go dark on Twitter again until planning kicks off for next year. Until then, find me on bsky.

Just realized that much like how #DeadpoolAndWolverine debuted over #SDCC, #FantasticFourFirstSteps is slated to do the same next year. Given the issues with the D&W screening, it's anyone's guess if they'll run that back - but something big will certainly be planned.

I get home from San Diego late tomorrow and will post an #SDCC summary and breakdown sometime on Tuesday. I’m both looking forward to getting home and sad that SDCC is once again a full year away. Always a great, if not exhausting, time.

Walking the #SDCC floor — sometimes you’re Morpheus, sometimes you’re Neo. Mostly Neo. youtu.be/zDO1Q_ox4vk?si=Ycz_…

Ready for the #DeadpoolAndWolverine panel at #SDCC. …but is Wolverine ready for me?

In a surprising turn, I managed to pick up everything I was looking for on preview night at #SDCC. Special shoutout to @toddlandstore for knocking it out of the park with the new #Minecraft booth and @Bling2Glass for their incredible handmade glass figures (find them on insta).

Annual #SDCC gripe: ppl that show up hours after a line forms and cuts hundreds of people to meet up with friends. If you don’t put in the time, you shouldn’t jump the line.

With 100 days until #SDCC, I've culled a lot of the accounts I'm following here (and will do more later). I don't post here any longer and only use it to keep track of specific con things. It's nothing personal. You can find my normal boring content at: bmemike.bsky.social

Just a reminder that invite codes remain on offer to those that need an exit strategy. HMU

Elon Musk revisiting an idea apparently floated privately in the past -- charging *everyone* to use Twitter. A lower tier than premium. "We’ve moving to a small monthly payment for use of the X system," he just told Benjamin Netanyahu, saying it's only way to stamp out bots.

That idiot is doing more idiot things. One more invite left (for now)...

If you’re looking for more ways to support folks in Lāhainā and on Maui, I hope you’ll consider donating to these local organizations that are providing direct support on the ground: obama.org/discover/stories/t…

Wanted to cast a wide net and see if there was anyone/anything for #NYCC like @SD_Comic_Con, @ParksAndCons or @OutsideComicCon Thanks!

Just a heads up: If I follow you on bsky, I'm probably going to unfollow you over here. You are, of course, not obligated to cross-post anything... but I'm continuing to whittle down my twitter footprint.
