Wouter Vrancken doesn't believe Hearts were too open in their 7-1 loss to Celtic.

Top three in the Premiership (joint-highest scorers in the league ahead of today's OF game), and Conference League main phase and League Cup semi-final secured while depleted in defence and midfield. Nobody would have expected that scenario at this stage after Graz / Aberdeen

Scotland used to have it all, in football terms.
Had the Ballon d'Or been in operation since the formation of association football in the 1860s, and was always global, it would be a three-way race between Scotland, Brazil and Argentina for the most number of wins over the years. The likes of Nick Ross and Alex James mean little to modern supporters, but these were amongst the best players in world football in the early 20th century.
But a decades-long obsession with England and a reluctance to engage with the game's growing internationalism has cost them dearly.
They are the biggest underachievers in world football.
