We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
This year’s Ig Nobel prizes, awarded on 3 September, include a biomechanics prize for creating a precise definition of kissing and a soil-science award for investigating what happens if you bury and then dig up 1,000 pairs of underwear.

IITG will use IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 score for admitting students to its 4-year BS programme in Biomedical Science and Engineering.
Students who wish to apply to the above program at IITG must complete Step 1 and Step 2, as detailed below:
Step 1: Apply to IAT 2026 on the IISER Admission Portal. (iiseradmission.in). The examination is scheduled on 7th June 2026 (9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon IST). The portal opens on 5th March 2026 to receive the application for writing the IAT exam.
Step 2: Follow the instructions as detailed on the specific program pages of the IITG website (iitg.ac.in/acad/admission/ba…) and accordingly apply for the program.

Eligibility Criteria for admission into BS programme of IIT Guwahati:
