ALT Coach Austin Rivers is from Union Mississippi. A graduate of Union High School where he was a two time state champ. He is now a senior for Blue Mountain College. He is a apart of the Blue Mountain College Powerlifting team and also on the inaugural team in 2019. In 2021, Austin competed at Collegiate Nationals in Baton Rouge Louisiana and placed 4th place. Austin is pursuing a Bachelor Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in coaching. He loves powerlifting, The New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Braves.

ALT Coach Morgan is from Morton, Mississippi. He graduated from Mississippi College with a bachelor’s degree in General Kinesiology. He has been competing in the sport of powerlifting for ten years and has been coaching it for three years. He is a certified powerlifting coach through the USAPL. At the age of 16 Coach Morgan won the Global Powerlifting Committee World Championship. He also holds two state records in the squat. Coach Morgan says, "The only time that success comes before work is in the dictionary."

ALT Meet Head Coach Jerrell “J” Howell. Coach J is entering his 2nd season as the head coach for the toppers. Before inheriting the position, J was the assistant coach and help establish the program back in 2019. Coach J has his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University. He also founded the powerlifting program there as during the fall of 2016. Jerrell is the current USA Powerlifting State Chair for the state of Mississippi and still actively competes! Coach is a loving father of 3 and loves to hangout and play with them whenever he isn’t with the team. Coach J’s philosophy is: “creating athletes so elite at what they do, they become impossible to ignore”
