Fun! I just built the example flutter app with ClojureDart running on hover. Installing hover was a little painful because I'm not familiar with the go ecosystem, but the rest was incredibly smooth. 😁
It's amazing what a carbon tax would do (BBB is the Build Back Better Plan). The whole discussion was great (the chart appears at 1:14 in the video).

I can consistently get nonprogrammers to create useful @SwiProlog_ programs within an afternoon.
I can rarely do so with programmers.
A code template is released under the MIT License. If I use that as a start for a work project, it's still under that license as the codebase grows, right? Does that mean other employees have the right to distribute the entire future codebase to competitors?

Meanwhile the people in power call themselves "climate leaders" as they open up new oilfields, pipelines and coal power plants - granting new oil licenses exploring future oil drilling sites.
This is the world they are leaving for us.
If I ever write a programming language, it will make converting between time zones hard enough that everyone decides to use UTC everywhere in the code.

Question for lispers: did the first "real" lisp implementation feature immutability as a key concept? Or was it an emergent property?
Wow, Clojure and the company behind it (formerly Cognitect, now Nubank) was just mentioned on CNN--cool!
“Over 250 million people in Latin America have no [bank] access, they never felt welcome inside a branch,” says @velez_david CEO of digital bank @nubank. They’ve now got 26M customers, are expanding to Mexico and have an est valuation of $10B. #Nubank

The results are in for cartoon ideas. Sankrant's suggestion got the most votes, suggesting I create alternate mascots for other programming languages. I like it!
I'm going to start tomorrow making mascots for other languages- Let's see how many I can do!

Add other characters. Prolog bacterial lifeforms, smalltalk aliens who are good at sending messages, highly advanced mechanical aliens called haskell who value purity above all else.

Calling it the “Chinese Virus” actually puts my safety in danger. Americans who look like me are getting physically attacked. All I’m trying to do is focus on these three, but now I gotta watch my back too.
