the reason your mixdowns take forever is because you are running through a checklist. real mix engineers work hourly and work micro to macro to get the best quality in the shortest period of time.
if someone every single time they give you advice online they plug their product thats not advice thats an advertisement. people just give advice they dont remind you to buy something...
i love and hate working on vocals. thank god this artist is from baltimore and can sing! its fun on this one. ppl who do club who arent in the scene at all....you can feel it. its just almost there, but not.
like you can polish a fake club record, but an ish mix from like @S_dotmusic or @KoticCouture is arranged better! it works on the dancefloor. it doesnt need function ones to work. it needs speakers and a crowd.
im good on elizabeth holmes...
i mean some people like hearing about the constant barrage of frauds who were highlighted in forbes and some arent. i like true crime im sure other ppl are tired of hearing about husbands murder their wives.
my fav things is just listening to music. its funny when i see a photo of an artist i fuck with for years sometimes i follow them on ig... its nice to enjoy music without the brand behind it. usually thats how the music i love was made imo. they didnt have a concept for art
its just a bunch of mcdonalds employees arguing over who has more clout when in the grand scheme of things they are all employees...every dj is a nobody...
its such a noob producer trick to use one thing on anything. you cant modulate everything the same way. tbh i tend to have a different side chain setting and threshold based on the track and how its arranged with the kick. i dont like to just buss everything to a sidechain.
I hate to be the one to burst the Tesla bubble today, but the spectacular “flight” we witnessed at the Roadster reveal needs a little context. The car is carrying around 250kg of compressed air, plus the weight of the tanks, valves and thrusters needed to contain and release it.
Based on the published figures, that gives it roughly 1.5–2 seconds of maximum thrust before the system needs to be refilled.
In short, it's a gimmick.
been throwing our samples into a reverb and im using stem splitting and like rx de reverb just to make weird shit. half the time its trash, but a few are wild cool. seems i need to adjust more for low end stuff. maybe ill add some sub with bx subfilter.

Someone has build a custom firmware assembly tool for the original OP-1 by teenage engineering. eight new synths (granular even!) + loads of tools and effects, more coming online pretty much daily. unfortunately my OG-1 was stolen a while ago :(

Absolutely wild whats happening. Here's a website that pulls together all alternative firmwares that are currently available for the M-VAVE FM-1
