I asked my 4 year old who's the loneliest yesterday, and she said god. Literally her and this old rabbi are on the same page

String theory is what happens when an intelligent system is starved of sensory input and starts hallucinating. Intelligence needs grounding.
For this reason, intelligence is practically never the bottleneck to solving impactful problems. The bottleneck is iterated contact with reality.
The left really does eat its own
Room full of women on the Oprah show starts cheering after a doctor says that black female child murderers need to be supported too, not just the white child murderers like Lindsay Clancy.
"I want us to have the same passion for [female child murderers] who don't look like Lindsay."
"There are women of color sitting around this country in prisons for [murdering their children]. I just wanna remind us to have the pink shirts and the energy for them as well."
Totally insane.
Steel man for why Clancy’s supporters are right is:
If you’re a woman, and the world has X resources, but a woman you don’t know frees up some of those resources by killing her children, are you upset by this?
You should have beef with historical figures
I have beef with Martin Luther. I blame him for many of our modern problems
Anyone who has a heart is naturally initially attracted to the left
But if you’ve given help to certain kinds of homeless, they’re scary and threatening. You end up giving out of fear rather than heart
I think people start as lefties because of their heart, but stay out of fear
Assume you had to build a system for some fictional country to have election integrity. It suddenly makes sense to require ID and paper ballots
case for anonymity
even jesus hid, and slipped out when the hoards came after him. he taught not to throw pearls before swine
the main thing to avoid is getting upset or angry. they may be wrong. they may be hurting themselves and others, but if you're outnumbered, don't expect to have a positive effect
