This is my kinda-like-a-Nike-ad tribute to the greatest women’s basketball player of all time…….the G.O.A.T. In this last week alone, she’s been harassed and attacked on and off the court. Her mom was attacked on social media for spreading love. Her greatness has been questioned. Her character has been picked apart. Every reaction gets dissected, while the disrespect that caused it gets conveniently ignored. (No surprise) And still… she keeps showing up. Still dominating. Still winning. Still sending MFERS to Cancun! 👋🏾🤭 Still carrying herself like somebody who knows exactly who she is. That’s the part people don’t understand about A’ja Wilson: You don’t become great because nobody throws stones at you. You become great when the stones stop mattering. (That’s a Bar) The mountain is UNMOVED by the wind. The ant DOESN’T SHAKE the lion. Talk. Tweet. POINT. Boo. Criticize. The résumé remains. The CHAMPIONSHIPS remain. The MVPs remain.
