बीजेपी वालों को पहले लगा कि सामान्य वर्ग कुछ दिन प्रदर्शन करने के बाद अपने आप चुप हो जाएगा, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ।
फिर उन्होंने CJP वाला नाटक किया। उन्हें लगा कि देशभक्ति के चक्कर में सामान्य वर्ग CJP का विरोध और बीजेपी का समर्थन करेगा, लेकिन ऐसा भी नहीं हुआ।
फिर मोदी जी ने कीर्तन का आयोजन किया कि सामान्य वर्ग अब तालियां बजाएगा और कीर्तन करेगा, लेकिन वह भी नहीं हुआ।
फिर फ्रांस और देशविरोधी गतिविधियों का मुद्दा उठाया, ताकि सामान्य वर्ग देश प्रेम में फिर से मोदी मोदी करने लगे, लेकिन वह भी नहीं हुआ।
जहाँ पहले यूजीसी ही मुद्दा था, अब बात SCST एक्ट और आरक्षण तक आ गई है।
बीजेपी ने हिंदुत्व की आड़ में सामान्य वर्ग का इस्तेमाल किया और उसे धोखा दिया। सामान्य वर्ग अब वोटिंग से हिसाब चुकता करेगा।

⚖️ The Court ordered ₹31,000 monthly rent retrospectively from March 8, 2019, ₹1 lakh in costs payable to the temple, and payment of outstanding rent arrears.

ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಈರಮ್ಮನವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಬಹುಪಾಲನ್ನು ಬಡತನದಲ್ಲೇ ಕಳೆದರು. 2014ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ, ಅವರ ನಿಧನದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಂದಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವರದಿಗಳೇ ಇಲ್ಲ!
"ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪದ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರಿಸಿದ ಇಂತಹ ಸಾಧಕರ ಬದುಕು, ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ಕೇವಲ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಸನ್ಮಾನಗಳಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾಕೇ?" ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಚುಕ್ಕಾಣಿ ಹಿಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು "ಕನ್ನಡ ಕನ್ನಡ" ಅಂತ ಎದ್ದೂ ಬಿದ್ದೂ ಓಲಾಡುವವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ.
ಬೇಂದ್ರೆ ಅಜ್ಜ “ಕನ್ನಡವು ಕನ್ನಡವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಸುತಿರಲಿ” ಎಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈರಮ್ಮನವರಂತಹ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನೇ ನಾವು ಹೀಗೆ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರೆ, ಬೇಂದ್ರೆಯವರ ಆ ಆಶಯ ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ?
ನಾನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮಗದೊಮ್ಮೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅರಸಿ ಬಂದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷ ನೆಲೆಸುವ ಹೊರನಾಡಿನ ಕೆಲವರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯಬೇಕು, ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದರಿಂದಷ್ಟೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ಉಳಿಯುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗದು.
ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮದೆಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಕಲೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಂಪರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿತು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ನಿತ್ಯದ ಬದುಕಿನ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮುಂದಿನ ಅನೇಕಾನೇಕ ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಉಳಿದು, ಬೆಳೆದು, ಬೆಳಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.
ತಾಯಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿಯನ್ನೇ ಕನ್ನಡನಾಡಿನ ಅಧಿದೇವತೆಯಾಗಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ಈ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ದರೋಜಿ ಈರಮ್ಮನವರಂತಹ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಾಧಕಿಯರನ್ನು ಮರೆತಿರುವುದು ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ!
ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ತಾಯಿಯೆಂದು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ನಾಡು, ಆ ತಾಯಿಯ ನುಡಿಗೆ ಜೀವತುಂಬಿದ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಗಳೊಬ್ಬಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಬಾರದು!
