It was built in 1876. It survived World Wars. It did not survive modern France.

I try to buy all my fresh food from farmers’ markets, farm shops, local butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. The quality is way better than a supermarket and because I use cash to pay for it, it keeps money in the local circular economy. And I’m spending less money because I’m only buying exactly what I need. So important to support local businesses - the engine room of our local economies.

I hope you realize that the replacement for physical wealth is already being built. Centralized institutions are pushing digital IDs and CBDCs for surveillance, and the goal is to confine individuals within a CBDC system where they can be rewarded with universal basic income for compliance.
Stablecoins and tokenized assets will replace physical wealth with permission-based digital claims. Tether-style blacklists and government seizure orders will freeze or confiscate your wallet. Once your money becomes a token, it becomes a permission slip... and permission can be revoked.
They are engineering a currency collapse to usher in this new system of digital financial enslavement. Owning gold, silver and other assets OUTSIDE the digital system will be key to financial survival.
