This feels like the wrong approach to AI in learning.
AI has done something extraordinary. With enough time, AI can teach you anything. The biggest blocker for students has always been that everyone learns differently and absorbs information at a different pace.
In a big class, missing even one day can put you behind. This is especially true for a subject like math, where everything is cumulative and each new concept builds on the last. Itβs easy to fall behind, feel stupid, and eventually decide that youβre just bad at math.
AI can change that. If every child were taught how to use it the right way, they could catch up at their own pace and ask as many questions as they need. AI never makes you feel stupid for trying to learn.
@alexsouthmayd at @bloomylearning have a much better approach

Bloomy (@bloomylearning) is helping kids learn faster with AI. Starting with English, Math, and Writing for K-12.
Their mastery learning platform meets every student where they are. Students receive standards-aligned instruction from a Socratic AI tutor, while teachers save time and spot misconceptions faster thanks to AI-enabled insights.
In early pilots, Bloomy students grew ~2x faster than projected on their NWEA MAP assessment.
