While insufficient finance commitments threaten to halt negotiations, countries had no problem in finding US$ 1.4 trillion to subsidise fossil fuels in 2022 alone. Taking externalities into account they rise to 7trillion Time to redirect funds towards a healthy, equitable future

Intense bombardments, mass displacements and lack of assured humanitarian pauses have forced the postponement of the second-dose #polio vaccination in northern #Gaza, which aimed to reach over 119 000 children under ten years. Having a significant number of children miss out on their second vaccine dose will seriously jeopardize efforts to stop the transmission of poliovirus in Gaza. We continue to call for an immediate ceasefire.
