Three impeachment articles dropped. One remains. The Senate impeachment court will now decide Sara Duterte's case based solely on Article II, involving alleged unexplained wealth. Did prosecutors strengthen their case or take a gamble? blogwatch.tv/2026/10/day-39-… #SaraDuterte #ImpeachmentTrial

Day 30 had plenty of "paputok": 51 firearms, "sarsuela" remarks and courtroom exchanges. But Article II will turn on what the evidence can actually establish. GenCorp. SALNs. SEC filings. Bank records. What is documented, and what remains unproven? blogwatch.tv/2026/09/day-30-…

849 acknowledgment receipts. Not one official receipt. On Day 13 of Sara Duterte's impeachment trial, a former COA auditor said it was the first time he had seen an entire liquidation supported only by acknowledgment receipts. The question remains: Are these enough to account for ₱125 million in public funds? blogwatch.tv/2026/08/day-13-…

Former Commission on Audit state auditor Roderick Wamil testified that an OVP accomplishment report for the first quarter of 2023 listed P42 million for medical and food assistance. A second-quarter report listed P40 million for the same purpose. He said these expenses were not among the exclusive uses allowed under Item 4.8 of Joint Circular No. 2015-01. The reports were signed by Duterte, according to documents presented in court.

Day 2 put the evidence on the record. The court heard Article IV first, allowed the NBI digital forensics witness to testify.. The harder task now: follow what was actually entered into the record, not just what trends on our feeds. #SaraDuterteImpeachment #ImpeachmentTrial

Two men now claim to be Senate President. Gatchalian holds the acting gavel and says he’ll preside over Sara Duterte’s July 6 impeachment trial, but he’s a vote short of the 13 the Constitution requires. Whatever the verdict, it could be challenged on who ran the room. blogwatch.tv/2026/06/cayetan…

“The law was never intended to provide an excuse for evasion.” — The Solicitor General to the Supreme Court, May 16, on Sen. Bato dela Rosa. He is a fugitive from justice. The Senate is shielding him anyway. blogwatch.tv/2026/05/the-sol…

On @blogwatchdotph, @momblogger asks a serious question and we all should be asking the same question of those we elected to those august halls, now tarnished on a global scale.
When the Senate protects one of its own, who protects the Senate as an institution? Bato had an ICC warrant. The Senate gave him “protective custody.” Gunfire followed. Then he left. No rumor should replace evidence. But no institution should be allowed to bury questions this serious. Read: “Bato, the ICC, and the Senate’s Accountability Problem” blogwatch.tv/2026/05/senate-…

P448M in disallowed funds. P6.77B in flagged bank transactions. Six years of zero cash declared in her SALN. Sara Duterte has issued press releases for all of it. What she has not done is show up and say any of it under oath. New piece: blogwatch.tv/2026/04/sara-du…

The full documented death toll of the drug war is larger and remains the subject of ongoing human rights documentation. No death penalty at the ICC but up to life imprisonment. Not a trial. Not a verdict. A confirmation of charges hearing asks one question: is there enough evidence to put Duterte on trial? The ICC started answering that yesterday. Here's what Day One looked like. blogwatch.tv/2026/02/the-dru… #duterteicc

How far did Jeffrey Epstein go to hide his past? Further than we thought. Leaked emails reveal Epstein hired a Philippines-based "reputation management" team to systematically bury negative search results and soften references to his crimes. This digital smokescreen was active years before his 2019 arrest. 👇 Read the full investigation philstar.com/headlines/2026/…
