We've been looking at butterflies around Tramore for homework - we've found out that the small tortoise was the most common. Of the seven types we were looking for, the Peacock was the rarest. @BioDataCentre @BioInSchools
Mucking around with some digital tools ahead of the new school year. Good fun to be had!

Looking forward to welcoming our past pupil and now MEP, @GraceOSllvn, to our school tomorrow to celebrate what's been an outstanding year in Glór na Mara. Doing a bit of writing about this lady's amazing life at the moment.....
My story is action-packed and involves arrest, the French Secret Service, a bomb, nuclear warships, harpoons, deportation and more. Please watch and share. It's why I'm running in #EP2019 I'm standing for @greenparty_ie in #IrelandSouth because the Green fight continues. Join me

Beautiful morning for @MsBrittonGNM's and @GreenSchoolsIre walking bus. Great way to support @MsHearne4th's class as they inspire and educate the community on #GlobalGoals and campaign to #LeaveNoOneBehind.

Did you see us out and about in #Tramore? We were recording data about car movements on the Ring Rd. We'll be number crunching and preparing graphs from our data tomorrow. #ActiveMaths #Maths #Data
And a few bits and pieces that wouldn't please @RSAIreland @Cyclistie @cosaingalway - lots of people using their mobile phones (on a roadabout, with 20+ schoolchildren standing nearby). We were surprised by the number of single drivers (average occupancy was 1.64).

I think this picture, of teen #climate campaigner @GretaThunberg standing in front of a coal-fired power plant, may come to be seen as one of the most iconic images of 2018
