The prediction market might just be on the lips of every crypto user RN, but the Big dawgs are focusing on another utility. 🚀 My point exactly: Crypto linked cards or web3 cards, this is basically solving the "usability" problem of crypto. Basically bridging between the digital asset world and everyday real world spending. Here's how I think it would work, when you swipe or tap a crypto card,the middle man (the card issuer/processor) instantly executes a real time conversion of your crypto into your local fiat currency (e.g USD, EUR, NGN) at the point of sale. The merchant receives fiat, and you spend crypto. Crazy, this would bring more use cases and adoption. In essence try to be a builder so as to benefit from the market ahead 💭💬 about it. Although we might assume that only Centralized exchanges like @coinbase @binance @cryptocom would be flexing on this to begin with, then decentralised wallet/exchanges are picking pace with the likes of @MetaMask @BleapApp powered by @arbitrum then the utility journey continues. My major concerns: Which are very little for now will be on fees tho While some cards advertise "zero-fee spending" there would still be a fee for converting crypto to fiat and some others we don't know about yet. My final thoughts: The Web3 card represents the final, critical phase of mass adoption for the crypto ecosystem. It successfully solves the most significant consumer friction point which is to turn volatile on-chain assets into seamless universally accepted fiat utility. The future winners will be the projects that master the delicate balance between Web3 decentralization, TradFi reliability, and user-friendly, tax-efficient spending. It's the weekend and the Nigerian Stock Market is closed but my streak on @cowrywise is Active, it shows I have bought shares for the months of November and December. We were educated on the changes and developments and how we can use both projects efficiently and effectively. While I was there I checked my #Nigerianstock portfolio and boy o boy. It's Binance Blockchain week and I'm just coming back from the mechanic shop I have been there all day. But then We will be in Dubai next year. Because by this time next year we will be billionaires.
