Every night, Israeli soldiers fire bullets at the tents of displaced Palestinians for entertainment, and Palestinian civilians are killed day after day while sleeping inside their tents.
Tonight, an innocent little girl Misk Al-Dalo was killed, becoming yet another victim of Israeli brutality in Gaza.
Please share this video in every language so the world can see what is happening and this senseless killing of Palestinian lives can finally stop.

Basically a good majority of CT devolved into these sorts of style which prioritizes reactivity over constructiveness and normalizes pure cynicism which basically contributes to the low-trust, nihilistic environment it criticizes
The other problem is that it these chaotic low-filter unhinged personas work well for CT engagement and "meme status" but literally works badly for 99% of everywhere else - I have met people like this in real life and they are the worst type of people to hang out with. Just unreliable, immature and purely theatrical and almost always very negative about the world
Pretty sure I had a period where I posted like this, then I realized it was such a draining and self-reinforcing loop that made you hate on everything. It makes you more cynical without making you sharper or better at anything, and leaked into how I saw anything else. It also basically guarantees unemployment because no colleague would actually want to work beside somoene who just shits on his own industry all day.
Would recommend just doing the opposite and being a perpetual optimist, works wonders not for this but just for life in general. There is no need to be upset

I actually wrote about this a couple years ago - due to failures of modern education and degree inflation it was clear that trade schools and trade professions would be more valuable - learning how to do things
Then the Palantir Internship came out that basically got students into Palantir out of high school. And that is IMO where the world will be heading - we're basically back to Industrial Era type style of modern education
Apprenticeship - just that now not at a blacksmith, but rather, at the largest companies in the world. It was obvious that the next thing to do was build your own school - and tie it to your company
Obviously, the last stage will be give them housing too - and now you have basically successfully, from first-principles, re-invented countries, and the previous era of humanity.
Soon you will be able to sign up to Elon Musk University, where you will be given a dorm, and then you can work at one of the Elon companies. And then repeated for all the major companies in the world.
I don't really know whether this is good or bad. Probably both. Anyways, all the outcome of a K shaped world.
Today, we’re launching an ambitious new school called The Horowitz Andreessen Academy.
Based in San Francisco, The Academy serves the most promising young high school graduates.
We think this can be an elite institution that attracts top tier talent. One that prepares students for the future rather than remaining stuck in the past.
The #1 goal is to help students learn to build, which is the most important skill in the AI era. They'll learn primarily by pursuing their own projects, either individually or in groups. There are classes and guest lectures, too, from some truly amazing people who have built modern-day Silicon Valley.
The Academy is designed as a network, since that’s the reason students go to school in the first place. Core to that network are our 10 Founding Partners: Anduril, Anthropic, Coinbase, Google, Meta, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Palantir, Replit, and Stripe. The network includes over 50 hiring partners and over 200 speakers and mentors. To join as a hiring partner or faculty member, you can apply on our website.
We raised $42M in funding led by @a16z. I'll be CEO and @pmarca and @eriktorenberg will join me on the board.
Applications are open for our Founding Class Fellowship, which will be one year and tuition-free. Eventually, pending regulatory approval, we plan to offer a two-year program that charges tuition, similar in cost to an elite private university.
We're looking for the most unusually ambitious young builders on the planet. Come join us in San Francisco:

🚨Heartbreaking: A footage from Gaza, retrieved from the archives, showing Palestinian children at an elementary school before the Israeli genocide.
The children of Gaza have now been without education for a fourth consecutive year due to the ongoing genocidal war on Gaza. More than 20,000 students have been killed, 90% of Gaza’s schools have been partially or totally destroyed, and many of the remaining schools have been turned into shelters.

Really brutal. The phishing email is written quite convincingly, and it comes from the official Trezor domain.
At least tens of millions will be lost; hopefully not hundreds of millions. Insane f*ckup from Trezor.
Our third-party e-mail provider has been breached. Please be aware that the email named ‘Critical Security Alert: STM32 Entropy Vulnerability’ is not coming from us, and it’s a phishing attempt. Do not click on any link.
We have taken down the domain, and we are investigating the situation, including how the hackers got access to our legit domain.

We have video evidence of Israelis blocking over 300 ambulances. Just in the past 3 years.
That is over 100 videos a year of Israelis blocking ambulances. Imagine how many times Israelis blocked ambulances without any published videos.

VIDEO | "One Jewish life is worth ten million ... Because God chose us. You are jealous."
An Israeli settler lawyer who represents settlers accused of attacking Palestinians told the BBC that Israel should "kill everyone" in the villages of Tel in retaliation for the killing of a single Israeli.
"One Jewish life is worth ten million," said Yehuda Shimon, a resident of the illegal Havat Gilad settlement. When asked whether his remarks were racist, he replied: "Yes, I know. But this is the truth. Because God chose us. You are jealous."

🦔AI companies are bulk-buying rare books, scanning them through high-speed machines that cut the spines off, and shredding the originals. A service called ISBNdb facilitates orders of up to a million books and keeps buyers anonymous. Pre-2022 books are premium because they're free of AI-generated text. A federal judge ruled the practice is fair use because eliminating the original means only one copy exists at a time. Anthropic hired the former head of Google Books partnerships to obtain "all the books in the world."
My Take
This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email.
ISBNdb's website literally says "'AI company destroys two million books' is not a headline that generates sympathy," and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it "digital preservation."
I've covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it's irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can't replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it's legal. So it's going to accelerate.
"We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out" is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline.

Settlers threw rocks at a pregnant Palestinian woman and she suffered a miscarriage as a result:
My neighbor’s wife lost her unborn baby after suffering severe fear and trauma during the Israeli settlers attack on my village, At Tuwani.
This is another consequence of settler violence that will never appear in official numbers or headlines.
Those attacks leaves lasting scars on people’s lives, their health, and the futures they were preparing for.
If this doesn’t move you, what will?
