We are at a very exciting inflection point with respect to Cardano's engineering and the diversity of ideas and teams. In the beginning there was one philosophy that was rigorous, safe, and effective, but it also deeply alienated many who wanted to contribute, prevented new ideas from entering our ecosystem, and resulted in a very slow delivery of features.
The team didn't want deadlines, focused on purity of practice, and thought in terms of years and decades. This benefited us tremendously in an age of unsafe practices, but also made it difficult for Cardano to grow and thrive.
Now in 2025, we are opening up the ecosystem augmented with small agile teams like Aiken and Midgard, while preserving the knowledge, experience, and rigor with IOR and our formal methods group using Agda. We also see different clients that will and should challenge the assumptions, designs, and features of prior teams to accommodate new protocols, economic realities, and our progress as a community.
Some are always unhappy with change and will look for easy scapegoats and want a return to days that never actually existed. But many will welcome a real opportunity to contribute, the faster pace of development, and the competition of ideas.
There are times I miss the old days. But the new days will be filled with even greater opportunities and exciting new capabilities. That's the nature of all great products and projects

For the first time ever, the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee discusses stablecoins as a "new payment mechanism" and a potentially huge source of demand for US T-Bills.
Key observations:
1. Stablecoin issuers currently hold >$120bn in T-bills
2. Rapid growth in stablecoins could lead to incremental demand of ~$900BN for T-Bills (size of Bill market today is $6.4TN).
3. If stablecoins experience exponential growth, demand for USTs should be correlated, likely at the expense of bank deposits
4. Stablecoins could grow to $2 trillion by 2030 in response to "continued market and regulatory breakthroughs."
5. Stablecoins could disrupt traditional banks by drawing away deposits.
"DLT Shares may be purchased only through The Bank of New York Mellon (“BNY”), which has a contractual relationship with a third-party technical platform operator."
Something massive brewing here, wonder which chain it will be. Digital shares onchain was always the north star for mass adoption and it's here.

Even though there are a lot of other things being built on Ethereum, the only thing that has really kept my interest for many years now is DeFi.
There is no bigger use-case than DeFi as it has a total addressable market of the entire planet and can also have the most long-term impact on the world.
There is also no other use-case that will drive more value to ETH than DeFi - nothing even comes close in terms of how much ETH demand and value it creates.
Going forward, for Ethereum to win and win big, we need to ensure that it remains the home of DeFi (in particular, high value DeFi). We also need to make sure that most/all of the RWA tokenization and TradFi integrations happen within the Ethereum ecosystem.
Win DeFi; win everything else.
Day one over, now for Verasity’s sponsored networking drinks. We met with multiple publishers today, and discovered that there’s huge demand for direct media buying in #web3.
We also found out that @realvradan…. is real. Now on for networking and getting ready for day 2!
First in to set up this morning, booth looking great, weather is fantastic. More to follow over the next two days. #CONF3RENCE
Hey everyone, a short update from me on some upcoming changes to Verasity and VeraViews marketing, and how we’re evolving.
On the Web3 side, Verasity core marketing, will now be headed by Daniel, (official handle: @realvradan - beware of imitators), as our Marketing Director. This is a move that will greatly enhance our communications and direction on the community marketing front, as Daniel has been with Verasity for many years managing and growing our community, and has been instrumental in developing our VeraLeader and Elites programs, shipping the Merch Store, delivering on multiple campaigns and questing initiatives, and representing Verasity at events. Daniel also has strong KOL relationships and will make greater use of these links as we move Verasity marketing forward.
As for myself, I will be focusing on VeraViews, particularly with event delivery in the run up to Conf3rence at Dortmund and Cannes Lions as well as new publishers and growth. As VeraViews is expanding, I will be stepping back from Verasity core marketing. VeraViews is Verasity’s principal B2B product; and over the coming months, I will build out a stronger marketing function to position VeraViews more strategically in the adtech space, including the appointment of advertising industry marketing managers who can elevate VeraViews marketing to the next level as we grow.
I think these changes will position Verasity for improved community-facing communications, and enable VeraViews to build out a strong commercially-focused marketing team with deeper links in the advertising industry.
I’ll be posting less here and and more in VeraViews so you’ll hear more from @realvradan - as he deploys new communications strategies.

Great for @verasitytech but also an important milestone for @Vera_Views as @creo_engine becomes the first pure #web3 gaming ecosystem to deploy VeraViews video technology.
This is a great example of what VeraViews can deploy for other #Web3 publishers, gaming ecosystems, and tool providers.
If you’re interested in learning more, meet us at @conf3rence next month and discuss deploying VeraViews video tech for your company.
We're proud to announce that we've partnered with @creo_engine to bring the VeraViews Video Player and Watch & Earn functionality to Creo's rapidly expanding #Web3 gaming library! 🎮
@creo_engine have hundreds of thousands of daily players across their titles, and they're becoming one of the hottest gaming ecosystems in #crypto! 🔥
