Happy 20th anniversary to @ rayneydaze& I. I told her after we met in person, two weeks isn't enough time, I want to spend a lifetime getting to know you.
Jimmy Buffett, I hope you found the answers to your questions, as you have said some of it's magic, some of it's tragic
But I had a good life all the way. youtube.com/watch?v=bwaqJOsm…
I used Document mode in Lookout to read info on a new credit card. I got everything I needed to activate the card, shared the info via an email to myself. play.google.com/store/apps/d…

For anyone looking for an emergency radio, I like this one because it charges via USB-C, crank, or solar.5,000 mah battery. great speaker, volume control, & tuneing. Also good radio for general use. amazon.com/gp/product/B09YHB…
As time goes on, I've been listening to less content from twit.tv butI think today ended it for me. Leo was talking about how he is embarrassed to have anyone over to his home since he only has a 77" tv. He's just become too elite for this common sense guy.
More on reading Necessary Trouble and thoughts of my Dad. I think of him allot while reading this book. He grew up in a small town in Kentucky. He knew enough at a young age that he needed to get away from that life and way of thinking, that is why he joined the AirForce.
Listening to more of Necessary Trouble & learning how Life magazine was the author's window to the world is the same reason why I donate to my local NPR station on a monthly basis. Getting that look into other places, people, & life from NPR is my window.
Still reading Necessary Trouble. I now have a greater understanding of my Dad & why he was focused on me meeting & learning from as many people as possible who didn't look like me. He learned those values in the mid to late 1950's in the AirForce.
On October 4, 2023 at 2:20 pm Eastern time FEMA & FCC will be sending out a nationwide alert test to phones, radios, & TV's. Don't do what some are suggesting and just plan to have your device turned off. If they don't test, how do you know it works? fema.gov/press-release/20230…

Reading Necessary Trouble got me thinking back to the start of the Gulf War. As an 18 year old in the last year of high school, talking about what if we had a draft. I remember saying that I wasn't sure I was ready to go kill people to support the Decisions of a government.
Enjoying reading Necessary Trouble. Chapter 2 was a look at the history of war & the expectations of society & relationships that you will not find in a history book, especially ones you find in a school. amazon.com/Necessary-Trouble…
I think each time I check today's tempature in Kansas City the numbers go up. So lets see if I don't check anymore today, if they will go down. Its only going to be 107 today, according to the last check & that doesn't include the heat index.
Its interesting how we learn from events such as a Pandemic. I used to go to a local movie theatre, get the same headset many others wore, & listened to a movie with Audio Description, without even thinking about the germs. Now I'll wait for the movie to be on Amazon & stream it.

Firefox for Android is getting desktop extensions support 🎉
Developers should prepare to get their extensions ready for Android. "Definite launch date" will be announced in "early September" but it's "safe to expect a roll-out before the year's end."

Hey @Google I fully support this idea. Sell me on a reason to upgrade, the yearly cycle isn't doing it. 9to5google.com/2023/08/11/wh…
