Together with @NicusorDanRO 🇷🇴, we united 17 Friends of Cohesion EU Member States around a common objective: preserving Agriculture and Cohesion as central priorities in the next European budget, while ensuring adequate resources to address Europe’s new challenges.
We strongly believe this is doable – and we addressed a joint letter to @MichealMartinTD 🇮🇪 as Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026 @Ireland2026eu, ahead of the next steps in the MFF negotiations.

The European Security Council, as it was proposed by the European Commission, seems a copycat of multiple USSR measures. I wonder why the commissioners gave their agreement on the proposals and where is opposition inside the European Commission, and, especially, outside.
