$526 million in on Monday. The price is lower on Tuesday.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs took their biggest day in nearly a month. Bitcoin is near $81,400 anyway. South Korea's Kospi fell 3.7% on chip and AI worries. Deribit puts are outtrading calls by more than two to one.
The inflow was real. The bid under it was not. CME listed Uniswap futures the same week, the first DeFi token with a contract there. Access keeps arriving. Conviction is the part that is missing
46 million German savers can buy it now. The funds spent the week selling it.
Sparkassen, Europe's largest savings bank network, opened crypto trading today.
Customers can buy Bitcoin, Ether, XRP and Solana.
That is 46 million accounts.
The same week, crypto ETFs let $610 million walk.
Ether funds lost more than Bitcoin funds.
Circle minted 250 million USDC on Solana this morning.
A bank door opening is not the same as money arriving.
One is access. The other is a bid.
Thirteen weeks of money in. Then a small week out.
US spot XRP ETFs just posted a $1.84 million weekly outflow. That ends a 13-week inflow run. The products have taken in about $1.8 billion over their life, so the week is small. The streak is the point.
The same week, a BIS paper said stablecoin growth slows when banks raise deposit rates. USDC is the most sensitive.
Cash is paying more. The wrappers felt it first.

Why did Ether funds lose more than Bitcoin funds?
$610.7 million left crypto ETFs from October 12 to 16. Ether products lost $320 million. Bitcoin lost $228 million. BlackRock's ETHA alone was $299 million of the Ether exit.
Friday was red across the board. Bitcoin -$82 million, Ether -$70 million, Solana -$13 million, XRP -$2.5 million.
Polymarket now prices a 14% chance of an October hike. It was near 45% right after CPI. The odds cooled. The outflows did not.

Following strong community demand, we’ve brought forward the $YNX eligibility checker, token claim, and listing timeline.
Here’s the updated schedule.👇
The bounce to $82,500 came on less volume.
Bitcoin fell to $79,770 on Thursday and is back near $82,200. Trading volume dropped about 25% on the way up.
Thursday's ETFs took in $5.1 million. Wednesday they let $261 million out. The week is still down $854 million.
A thinner tape and a $5 million inflow is not a bid. It is a pause under the same $84,500 wall.

Bitcoin tagged $80,000. The stocks broke first.
It fell to just above $80,000 overnight, near the October 8 low, then bounced to about $81,200. South Korea's Kospi dropped 8% and hit a circuit breaker. Japan's Nikkei was down 5%.
About $951 million was liquidated in 24 hours, $876 million of it longs. October hike odds eased from 47% to about 26%. That is a relief, not a bid.
$80,000 held. It did not get bought. There is a difference.

CPI came in at 3.7%. The hike is back.
September inflation was 3.7%, above the 3.6% call and up from 3.4%. Core was 2.6%, also above the call. Gasoline rose 9.1% in one month.
October hike odds went from 22% to about 43%. The 10-year yield is 5.31%. Bitcoin fell from about $83,800 to $82,200.
Yesterday the wall was $84,500, the ETF cost basis. A hot print does not clear it. It pushes it further away.
Bitcoin is back at $83,400. That is not the test.
It printed $81,222 overnight and bounced. The level that matters is about $84,500, the average price ETF holders paid.
Last week those funds lost $681 million. CPI is tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. New York. A hot print keeps that outflow going. A cool one has to clear $84,500 first
Encrypted NFTs are the first version of this that makes sense to me. A public chain should not mean a public collection. Fungo Labs sealing that with FHE is the part I actually want to see
