A walk round the park listening to the brilliant new album from @materialobject is ticking all the boxes tonight. Lakeland fells with the sun due to set shortly in the distance. Got some birdsong ambience just creeping through too which is even cooler. (Brian Eno was right)

Psychedelic music takes many forms, from the demure and celestial to the lurid and profane. Capturing its essence remains elusive, but @materialobject succeeds in forming an immediate and direct connection to the unmistakable feeling of hyperreality that will be familiar to many.
Serendipitously, this week saw @Tony_Surgeon and @dan_bean release Colour by @materialobject on their label Old Technology – six fragile yet powerful pieces, created using a single synthesiser and “driven live in every which way”.
