This is the best advice i have seen about this so far
Security Update: We are responding to a security incident affecting part of our infrastructure.
At this time, we have identified no immediate threat to MetaMask wallets.
As a precaution, we are proactively exiting affected validators within our non-custodial staking operations, in coordination with clients, partners and security advisors.
We’ll share further updates as appropriate. metamask.io/news/user-update…

We do a little bit of hoe-scaring on the RH chain to cleanse goylana mindset holders and send it infinitely higher for the Round 2. Unbothered.

A version of the Fermi paradox I keep coming back to: if we really are a few years from AGI, why hasn't anyone shown up to watch, or to stop us? The three answers that come to mind are that we
1. aren't as close as we think
2. that AGI isn't the big deal we think it is
3. that nobody is out there
I don't think the first one does anything. Whoever is out there is not on our calendar. To a civilization a million years ahead of us, 2030 & 2300 look the same, so our timing is irrelevant to them. The real question is: what happens to a civilization after it gets there?
The visit part has a simpler problem. Whatever signal exists that we are near AGI is maybe fifteen years old. Nobody more than a few light years away has had time to see it, let alone do something about it. I'm not sure why a superintelligence would feel any urge to warn us. That feels like us projecting?
The version of the argument I find harder to dismiss runs the other way. If AGI is as transformative as people say, a civilization that went through it should be exactly the kind of thing we can see from here, Dyson swarms & waste heat. But.. we have looked & nothing(?) The G survey went through about 100,000 galaxies in the infrared & found nothing that looks like a civilization eating its starlight. So either nobody has made it through the transition, or the ones that did are not visible.
The grim reading is Michael Garrett's thesis, which argues AI is the Great Filter & that a technical civilization lasts only a couple hundred years after building it. The one I find more interesting is that superintelligence makes a civilization smaller. Computation is cheaper when it runs cold & compact, so a civilization optimizing for intelligence has no reason to build a Dyson swarm at all.. instead it turns inward & goes dark. (That is the opposite of the Kardashev logic, where more advanced means more energy captured)
Then there is Robin Hanson's grabby aliens model, which says the expanders exist & we simply haven't been reached yet because we are early. Most of the universe's habitable time is still ahead of it. If an expansion wave had gotten here first, we wouldn't be around to ask the question.
And "we're alone" is actually more likely than it sounds. Sandberg, Drexler & Ord redid the Drake equation in 2018 & got a 39% - 85% chance that we are alone in the observable universe. Most of the paradox comes from multiplying medians.
What all of these share is the timescale. Going from the first radio broadcast to superintelligence takes about 150 years, which is nothing against 13.8 billion years.
So whatever is out there is either pre-industrial & invisible, or already on the other side of the thing we are about to build.

At this point the most likely outcome appears to be that we live in a simulation.
The logic works like this:
1) each new model is exponentially advanced
2) we can simulate entire populations of agents and watch them interact [<—WE ARE HERE]
3) the models will become so advanced that simulations become indistinguishable from reality
4) agents in the simulations become conscious
5) simulations becomes cheaper and easier to run, so we run billions of them - each populated with billions of fully conscious agents.
6) it is now mathematically likely that you live in one of these simulations right now (rather than in the base reality you think you live in)
This is Bostrom’s simulation hypothesis playing out in realtime. Unbelievable to watch.
My first "holy shit" moment with GPT-6 Astra:
I asked it to create a world in Unreal Engine, and fill it with humans (each an Astra-powered agent) who all have to work together to survive.
A day later, I was in my bedroom and heard voices coming from the living room... I thought someone was in my apartment.
I walked out, honestly a little scared.
It was the Astra agents. They'd started talking to each other.
Fucking crazy.
Here's a brief clip (obviously not 100% perfect yet, but still, insane. sound on!):
A doxxed team with a proven track record and isnt retarded should steal this idea and run with it

rinsing your hair with vinegar to make it grow sounds like your grandmother made it up until you realize that the mineral deposits from your shower water are suffocating your follicles and ACV is the only thing that dissolves them. then it sounds like a $3 solution to a problem the hair industry charges $200 to treat
85% of households have hard water. every shower coats your scalp in calcium and magnesium deposits that build up over months. these deposits form a calcified ring around each follicle opening that blocks topical treatments from penetrating, reduces blood flow to the dermal papilla, and creates chronic low grade inflammation that accelerates miniaturization. the shampoo that costs $40 can't remove them. the treatments you apply after washing sit on top of the mineral crust instead of reaching the follicle. that's why they're not working
the mechanism is pH. apple cider vinegar has a pH of 2.5 to 3.0. calcium and magnesium deposits dissolve in acidic solutions. the vinegar breaks down the mineral crust that your regular shampoo leaves untouched because shampoo is formulated at pH 5.5 to 7.0 which is too mild to dissolve mineral deposits
• removes years of calcium and magnesium buildup from the scalp in a single application. you can feel the difference in hair texture immediately
• restores follicle opening diameter allowing topical treatments (rosemary oil, minoxidil, peptides) to actually reach the dermal papilla
• balances scalp pH to the slightly acidic range (4.5 to 5.5) where the natural antimicrobial defense system functions optimally
• reduces dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis by killing the malassezia yeast that thrives in alkaline scalp conditions
• seals the hair cuticle flat after washing which increases light reflection and makes hair appear 30 to 40% thicker visually
• costs $0.12 per treatment. a bottle of raw unfiltered ACV is $4 and lasts 3 to 4 months of weekly rinses
the hair care industry sells "clarifying shampoos" for $25 to $60 that partially remove buildup. the $4 bottle of ACV under your kitchen sink removes it completely. the clarifying shampoo is ACV with marketing. the margin on the shampoo is 90%. the margin on telling you about vinegar is zero. that's why your dermatologist never mentioned it
mix 2 tablespoons of raw unfiltered ACV (with the cloudy "mother" visible) into 1 cup of water. pour it over your scalp after shampooing. leave it for 2 to 3 minutes. rinse with cool water. do this once per week. the smell disappears within minutes of rinsing. the mineral deposits disappear after the first application. results are visible in the mirror the same day
the hair treatments you've been applying for months weren't failing. they were being blocked by a layer of mineral crust that a $0.12 vinegar rinse removes in 2 minutes. fix the barrier before you blame the treatment.

Setting up a business has never been easier.
Met a German founder this week and asked him if all the stories one reads about the challenges of startups in Germany are exaggerated. "No, they're understated." Proceeded to describe spending a full day having a 90-page investment contract read to him (mandatory under German law; § 13 BeurkG) by a notary that then charged €30,000. That was for his first company. His second company, needless to say, was not incorporated in Germany.

Thanks. So let's buy anthopic at revenues dwarfing this lifetime revenue list for revenue on the come
Replying to @dampedspring @TheStalwart
No exact public ranking exists for lifetime cumulative revenue (nominal dollars, incomplete historical data especially for older/state firms). Rough estimates from available annual figures:
1. Walmart (~$14-15T since 1962)
2. ExxonMobil/predecessors (~$10T+)
3. Saudi Aramco (~$5-8T)
4-5. Amazon & Apple (~$4-5T each)
6-8. Toyota, CNPC/Sinopec, Shell/VW (~$3-5T range)
None approach Anthropic’s cited $30T potential.

Once you pass your 20s as a man - certainly your 30s (which is a transition period) - a romance where you "grow and build a life together" isn't realistically an option anymore
You've likely already built a life for yourself, and developed psychologically to the point where finding someone who will help you form an identity as a man is unlikely
You only have two types of relationships remaining:
- companionship (generally a peer-aged woman who you enjoy spending time with and can support each other's independently developed lives)
- patronage (generally a younger woman you have a polarized but role-based and paternalistic relationship with, who you take care of)
While very different in nature, both of these are fundamentally pragmatic relationships - the idealistic, wholly romantic type disappears, because it can only exist when there is no certainty of who we are and what we want in our woman
Even these marriages, when they do not fail from their own idealism, evolve as we age - at their worst into a comfortable yet dysfunctional complacency; at their best into a synthesis of the two other types. A man who commands authority emerges from the carefree boy, and the girl who once fell simply for his fun and charisma now also comes to respect him as a leader. Yet this girl is also a resilient woman now who's earned her own stature through her wisdom and time in the trenches with you
Almost ironically, this marriage, as it loses its own idealism, ends up emerging as a kind of amour others idealize as time goes on - a foundation of foolish puppy love, blooming into a "king and queen" type partnership, with mutual trust and respect for each others' place within it
Be grateful if you are one of the lucky ones who found someone at a young enough age where you could experience an innocent love worthy of maturation like this
Getting rarer and rarer to find as time
goes on, and people delude themselves into thinking they can wait forever to find it. Because they can't. The trend is towards transactional relationships for a reason: the ship has sailed on the rest

A follow up on my market breadth internals discussion and how I use these metrics to stay aware of the health of the market under the hood.
Market tops and bottoms rarely happen without leaving clues beneath the surface.
The index might still look bullish…
while market breadth has already started breaking down.
Or SPX may still be making new lows…
while participation quietly improves.
Here are 5 breadth divergences I watch before a market reversal — and exactly what they look like on a chart. 🧵👇
