My 6yo was expecting a new student in Kindergarten Mon or Tues. Given the uncertainty, she packed a "YAY!" sweatshirt & would change into it if the student showed up Mon, and would otherwise save it for Tues. Of course, she didn't tell anyone why she wore the shirt. 😂
For 8 years, @kevinrocci has brought the stoke to our students and employees. Excited to see what you do next!
Today marks my last day at @magoosh! What a journey it's been. I'm humbled by the people I worked with and proud of the company we built.
As a final act, we hopped on Zoom, danced a little, and answered the only question worth answering:
"What makes you stoked?"

Made some poached eggs for the fam and didn't screw them up. Not sure why that feels like an accomplishment but I'll take the win.
Zen state: eat less; sleep more.
Parenting state: eat the kids leftovers, feel unsatisfied so eat more; try to sleep and get woken up.
Three traits that make a great founder, especially in the early days.
1. Clear, compelling vision
2. Strong bias towards action
3. The right balance of adapting based on feedback + sticking with vision.
Excellent thread on keeping your word while in a power position.
There's merit to this, and I also wish founders would talk more to avoid bad investors.
Replying to @dunkhippo33
7) In addition, investors talk. A LOT. I’ve seen investors not touch a deal because a founder screwed over 1 investor.
It’s just not worth it to do business with ppl who aren’t able to follow through on what they say. Even if they become a unicorn.
