DOD to deploy military to southern border, this is a great start!

America First Motto.
I have thought on this a bit and have come up with the following that outlines my thesis for why America should focus on itself. I use this when engaging with people online and use it as my North Star so to speak.
So here it is:
America shouldn’t be everywhere just to be everywhere. We should be selective, strategic, and self-interested. Allies should contribute, not just take. Engagement should bring real benefits, not just obligations.
If automation and reshoring make us less dependent on global trade, then defending the dollar at all costs may no longer be necessary in the future. The real economic threat isn’t losing reserve currency status—it’s reckless domestic spending and bad policies that weaken us from within.
Being strong at home makes us stronger abroad.America’s role should be one of leverage, not charity. If a foreign commitment drains our resources, it should be reconsidered. If an alliance only survives because we pay for it while others do nothing, it’s not a real alliance. If a country turns to China or Russia just because we stop funding them, they were never really on our side.
Nations don’t die from war, they die from within. When families fail, so does a country. A powerful America benefits the world—but a reckless, unfocused America benefits no one.
Can we get rid of the F.A.F.O. meme?
I present to you a better alternative: Behave and Prosper.
The threat is implied. Also it says there are multiple ways forward, some very positive for all parties, some not so good, so lets all choose wisely. I feel the F.A.F.O. is a bit too heavy on the stick and not enough on the carrot.
