My school district paid BIG money to a motivational speaker to “motivate” teachers. He was awful.
This is how clueless many districts are.
Teachers don’t need motivational speeches. They need support, accountability, and fewer distractions from actually teaching.

A lot of people whose children go to private schools make all the decisions for public schools in Oklahoma. Doesn’t really make sense to me.

Hard truth:
Schools cannot fully overcome poor parenting.
Teachers are burning out trying to do the jobs of educator, counselor, disciplinarian, and parent all at once.
At some point, accountability has to return to the home.

When the last game really is the last game, it’s emotional. Win or lose, watching seniors play their last game is tough. It’s tough for parents too. HS careers are over. The end of something is the beginning of something else. Cherish this time & look forward to the next chapter!
