Today an important meeting was held regarding key issues of the Tea Garden & Ex-Tea Garden Communities of Barak Valley on the direction of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr @himantabiswa Ji. The discussion focused on fair issuance of appointment letters for selected candidates in ADRE, GT & Elementary Teacher recruitment 2025 belonging to Tea Garden & Ex-Tea Garden Communities of Barak Valley and inclusion of various castes in the Tea Garden community list for NEET-UG and State recruitment benefits. The meeting was chaired by Shri @Pijush_hazarika Ji (Cabinet Minister Govt Of Assam) in presence of Ministers Govt Of Assam Shri @iKaushikRai Ji, Shri @rupeshgowala Ji, Shri @BijoyMalakarMLA Ji(MLA), Shri @RajdeepGoala14 Ji (Barak Cha Sramik Union), and departmental officials. Today, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. @himantabiswa ji, the Pathini Model Tea Garden School stands tall—raising a powerful question to the previous leadership and earlier governments: education can transform lives when intent meets action. Proud and happy to be present today at Pathini Model Tea Garden School to distribute bicycles to 78 Nos Class IX students, a step that will encourage regular attendance, especially among students from tea garden communities.
