The SEC has to preserve its ability to enforce its rules. If the SEC is subject to injunctions preventing enforcement & entered by local judges, who are sometimes incentivized by politics, the SEC could lose control over schools. Then, the rules become meaningless. #CFB

My prediction (which no one cares about) LSU will not get kicked out of the SEC this week. They will get an ultimatum. Then both parties slowly back down and try to save face, and we all go back to focusing on sports with Lane Kiffin facing a fine or short suspension. #SEC #CFB

For those saying LSU "did nothing wrong," LSU voted for the Rule it is trying to break 2 days before it filed a lawsuit asking a Louisiana court to prevent any punishment if it breaks the rule. Cmon, man. #SEC #SECFB

I am rooting for the SEC to prevail against #LSU for a couple of reasons, but the “forced association” element of the SEC’s claim against LSU feels a little strained absent a Louisiana court’s TRO/preliminary injunction preventing the SEC from imposing penalties on LSU.
