Teaching the next generation of animators in Northwest Arkansas! 🎬
I recently taught two back-to-back animation workshops at the 16th Annual Ozark Media Arts Festival (OMAF 2026) at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in downtown Springdale, AR!
The room was packed with high school media and arts students from across Northwest Arkansas asking incredible questions about drawing, digital rigging, and building a creative career.
Part 1: Drawing to Motion
I broke down how a hand-drawn illustration becomes a moving character in Character Studio without losing that hand-crafted feel. We walked through character hierarchy, pivot points, clipping masks, and how I use AI as a coding co-pilot to build custom animation tools for my artwork. This is the same process and technology I am using to create the BizarreBeasts ($BB) animated series, coming soon to DCP+ (@DCP_Foundation).
Part 2: The Creator’s Playbook
I covered the 5 pillars guiding my development of the BizarreBeasts project: Make, Anchor, Play, Spread, and Belong, and even mapped out a live blueprint for a student wanting to create their own animated series!

Decentralized social is important.
Yesterday's actions by Farcaster, preemptively banning long-serving community members as an AI decided they "didn't fit the Singaporean citizen model" is frankly insane - and alongside being an example of AI used with the worst possible intentions, it also added to the importance of actual decentralized social.
We're working with our friends within the Farcaster Community (the real one) to lend our dev resources towards ensuring the continuity of the protocol under HyperSnap & Quilibrium, spearheaded by @cass_on_mars.
We believe this symbiotic relationship will be beneficial to both our community at imgnAI, as well as to the Farcaster community - and the large overlap of users active on both of our platforms.
We all believe that decentralization is the way forward - and we want to ensure that we're doing everything in our power to keep decentralized social and its talented pool of builders & creators live and kicking.

What a night! Hundreds packed into the Alexander Gallery for "Our Art 2026" (presented by @walton_arts), and the momentum behind BizarreBeasts is building!
The piece I am exhibiting, All Cooped Up, is mounted on a 55" screen right in the perfect place to be seen throughout the gallery, and officially marks the first-ever animated piece exhibited at the Alexander Gallery.
Watching people get mesmerized by 123 hand-illustrated chickens, record videos, and ask about my custom digital rigging pipeline proved what I've felt since moving here: Northwest Arkansas LOVES art and innovation. This is an incredible place to be an artist and founder.
• Brought 2D software animation into fine art gallery spaces
• Connected over our upcoming series on @DCP_Foundation
• Handed out BIZARRE chicken stickers (and rare Hans & Cecil drops!)

Since I'm not sharing the gallery animation until after the debut at the Alexander Gallery on Sept 25, I built a new art game so the BizarreBeasts community can experience the artwork, and of course, GO BIZARRE.
🎮 How it works:
