The real question isn't WHEN mass adoption happens it's WHAT mass adoption actually looks like.
Because if mass adoption means everyone holds Bitcoin through BlackRock and Fidelity and never touches a private key that's not what the cypherpunks had in mind.
And if mass adoption means everyone runs their own node and holds their own keys well that's never happening because most people can't be bothered to even back up their photos.
