Pretty standard debut author novel length. It has progressed from complete dogshit, to kind of shit, to okay in some parts to where it's at today, which is spots of brilliance and spots of still dogshit I won't give any big hints yet, but I'd say it's at the intersection of Dark Humor / Sci Fi / Existentialist Fiction I'm pretty excited about it! Targeting Q2 for that sweet sweet release So stay tuned! My friends These past 5-6 years I have taken routine "breaks" of 3-5 days pretty consistently from social media In order to prevent my brain from turning into slop I think it has been reasonably effective to do that Now I have also begun taking consistent breaks from using AI Same concept. Overuse of AI can extend even to formulating concepts or articulating vague or foggy ideas in a clear and concise way as a brain crutch Overuse over time could lead to a weakening in the ability to precisely form thoughts and articulate them yourself The kind of thing that seems like common sense if you think about it now, but won't even be studied officially and published in science journals for decades and by then ofc it'd be too late
