Do this
My HIIT protocol is different than most I designed it for Max results Max safety Max convenience Protocol 1 min max effort upper body only (assault bike upper body only, ski erg, rower or battle ropes) 4 min break 1 min max effort lower body only (stationary bike with resistance) 2 days on 2 days off (max recovery is what gets the gains) 8 min of exercise per week 10,072 minutes of recovery per week How do you know you did it right? Your arms will barely be able to hold up your phone. Your legs will be burning and you will be hobbling for a few min. You’ll probably have to sit or lie down. The reality is that humans cannot go max effort for more than about 30 seconds. True max effort. The second 30 seconds you can barely go and it gets worse exponentially towards the end. The goal is to exhaust the entire body’s skeletal muscle while getting the heart rate up as high as possible. Most HIIT protocols fail to exhaust the skeletal muscle completely. They are either full body or lower body only. My protocol is a sprint to exhaustion for the upper body, the lower body and heart. If you’ve ever done the 400m dash you know what it feels like to sprint full effort until you simply can’t. If you haven’t, you probably don’t. Despite a million different exercise protocols. Nobody really does this. Even world class sprinters are exhausted in 40 seconds. Why upper body and lower body? 50% of your muscle mass is below your waist 50% of your muscle mass is above your waist Lower body only protocols are leaving a lot of metabolic benefits on the table. While this protocol is great strength training, the real goal of it is metabolic. Benefits In 5 weeks of my protocol as the only exercise I did Lost 8 lbs (fat not muscle) Decreased cardio age by 4.5 years (as measured by pulse wave velocity) Lowest cholesterol total of my adult life Increased energy, mood and mental clarity Improved skin and nails and cuticles (a sign of strong repair response) Why? Because of recovery. The gains come from recovery. We are sending a maximal signal to your body and it is responding maximally during recovery, Increased mitochondrial density and biogenesis - 30-50% This will improve basically every bodily processes and give you tons more energy Increased NAD production - again tons more energy and used inside every one of the 40 quadrillion mitochondria in your body every second you exist, NAD precipitously drops as you age and you can literally do HIIT training to get it back up, also involved in DNA repair. The mitochondria and NAD benefits compound each other. Decrease pulse wave velocity - this is a measure of the speed of the blood through your veins, decreasing it means your arteries are more flexible and healthy Clear excess lipids - Reduces blood triglyceride levels by 10-20%, Increases HDL by 5-10%, Decrease LDL 5-10% Excess lipids in the blood leads to plaque build up in the arteries and this protocol is designed to help clear excess lipids and reverse heart disease (likely effects on cancer and diabetes too) Increase VO2max - 15-20% the higher it is the longer you live Improve HRV - 5-10% Reduce Blood Pressure - 5-15 mmHg Increase Blood Stroke Volume - 10-25% Increase Lean Muscle Mass - 3-5% Flush epinephrine and nor-epinephrine stores - interestingly, while this protocol causes a spike in these adrenalin molecules, baseline levels of them will actually get lower. This means less stress and anxiety Decrease A1C - Diabetes hates this Increase insulin sensitivity - 23-58% Diabetes hates this Reduce fasting blood glucose - 10-15% Diabetes hates this Increased Resting Metabolic Rate - 5-15% for up to 24-48 hours (you burn more calories while doing nothing) Increased Fat burning - 10-30% Increased Working Memory and Attention - 10-20% Increase BDNF (brain derived neutrophic factor) -20-30% immediately post-exercise, increased neurogenesis, neuron repair, more dendrites, studies show decrease in depression and increase in cognitive performance Increased Glycogen Storage Capacity - 30-40% Muscle Strength - 5-10% Increased Telomere Length - 2-4% Safety This is most important. Don’t get injured. If you’re new to this start slow. Clear it with your doctor if you’re new to training. If you get injured you can’t keep doing the protocol And the point is doing the protocol, not some personal record The rower, assault bike. ski erg and battle ropes are less likely to injure you The stationary bike is less likely to injure you Sprinting I don’t love because it can injure you. You can fall and get injured badly, breaking bones More likely to pull something And honestly you can’t burn your legs out the way a stationary bike with resistance can I was a competitive sprinter from age 8 to 18 And it obviously misses the upper body It’s 1 interval. Fewer intervals, less chance of injury Convenience It’s 8 min a week Uses equipment common to most gyms

The SolarBit project is coming along nicely. Many hours of research and development has been put into this project. The amount of mechanical and electrical engineering is insane! Great job to the development team.

Bitcoin is perfect money. That sentence takes 2 seconds to hear. But it takes 2 hours to explain, 2 months to believe, 2 years to understand, and 2 epochs to prove.

Nobody is selling Bitcoin. Exchanges sell Long traders long positions with loaned leverage and pay market makers to go back and liquidate or force them out. It’s a business. Time for you to learn this and stop asking “why are people selling”. Watch my Liquidation Level chart to see this accurately in real time. As a bull we love flushes. This is where we enter lower. Stop being afraid of pullbacks. Flip the switch and become a trader.

Must read 👇👀
Just in: ESMA releases 400-page report, with proposed disclosure regulations for anyone with > 17 new mining rigs, effectively making life extremely difficult for all commercial Bitcoin mining companies, and discouraging future commercial Bitcoin mining. Context: In Jan this year I wrote that ECB and ESMA (Securities and Markets Authority - like the SEC in the US) were working together on defacto bitcoin mining bans. Within 3 months we saw the first wave of evidence of that. Proposals for restriction of Bitcoin mining in Norway coindesk.com/policy/2024/04/… and "energy curbing" in Iceland theblock.co/post/284326/icel… Now the second wave is upon us. I'll cut to the chase: Page 12 of ESMAs 400-page report introduces a new "proportionality threshold". If you're below this threshold of energy consumption per year, your crypto-mining operation will need to disclose one manditory disclosure. If you are above this threshold, your crypto-asset miners will need to fill in five supplementary "key indicators". esma.europa.eu/sites/default… What is this threshold? 500,000 kWh/year. How much is that? Well, let's break it down. You divide by the number of hours on the year (8760) to go from kWh/year energy to kW of power. So that's only 57 kW of power ! A new S21 miner takes 3.5 kW so that’s only 17 miners. Most commercial mining ops have a minimum of 2MW (2000 kW) power draw (500+ miners) So to summarize, all mining operations with more than 17 new mining rigs ( all commercial operations) will need to fill in 6 onerous disclosures. The proposed regulations appear designed to be maximally obtrusive to the maximum number of miners. This will undoubtedly be a significant overhead, and require disclosure of confidential material (as did the proposed disclosures that EIA tried to affect in the USA coindesk.com/policy/2024/02/…). It it also highly likely to discourage any new Bitcoin mining activity in the EU. This is how Central Banks like ECB use rule-making and political influence to attack an industry that threatens you, ie: you impose the next best thing to a mining ban, while making it look like 'care for the environment'. "I'm not in EU, who cares?" ESMA, who work closely with ECB (Euro Central Bank), has signalled that once the report is accepted in EU, they will push for it to become the standard in other nations ODFoundation founders @LyudaKozlovska and @jardemalie have done the hard work for us of reading through every EC document. They've been fighting this on behalf of the entire Bitcoin mining industry for 18 months. Not always with the level of support they deserve. The EU Central Banks have the resources, knowledge of legal process, history of peer reviewed misinformation on BTC environmental impact. But we have 2 things on our side they'll never have 1. being a movement led by values 2. the truth But without 3. "Action" - these 2 virtues are incomplete. Contact @ODFoundation to see how you can help. Please support them this time, even if you were one of the people saying/thinking "It's not so bad" the first time they reached out and asked for your help

Elon Musk recommends #bitcoiners favourite book "The Road to Serfdom" by Hayek #bitcoinbooks #bitcoin
Some audiobook recommendations: The Story of Civilization by Durant Iliad (Penguin Edition) The Road to Serfdom by Hayek American Caesar by Manchester Masters of Doom by Kushner The Wages of Destruction by Tooze The Storm of Steel by Junger The Guns of August by Tuchman The Gallic Wars by Caesar Twelve Against the Gods by Bolitho Genghis Khan by Weatherford The first one on the list will take a while to get through, but is very much worthwhile. Admittedly, this is a list that appeals to those who think about Rome every day. I hope someone makes an audiobook of The Encyclopedia of Military History by Dupuy and The Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World by Creasy.
