One of the most important speeches you will hear this year on why we are at war with Iran. Worth five minutes of your time.
Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-MT) delivers an incredibly powerful speech about Iran. Watch every second of this. "Yesterday we saw the president of the United States and many others at Dover Air Force Base presiding over a ceremony that is very sacred to those of us who served, and that is a dignified return of remains from the war zone. That process happens beginning in the war zone through Dover to the hometown of our fallen heroes. I participated in many of those ceremonies myself to include carrying friends of mine off the plane. One of those is on this bracelet. He was cut in half by an Iranian EFP. This regime that we are fighting does not care about our partisan politics. They don't care who you voted for, who you pray to, or where you live. They want to kill all of us. And they don't just say it, they actually do it, and they've been doing it for forty-seven years. This is a war of choice. The Democrats are correct. It's a war of choice that was begun by a radical lunatic band of terrorists that took over a beautiful nation 47 years ago, took it over with brutality, force, and savagery. And the second they took it over, they didn't free their people, they didn't unleash the largest oil reserves in the world to build schools and bridges. They took it over to murder their own people and to spread their disgusting ideology across the world, and that is exactly what they have been doing. They don't just say it and talk about it. You don't have to believe what they say. You can simply watch what they've done. They have attacked families, women, children, innocent people. They don't just attack them and kill them, they rape them. They skin them alive on camera. They celebrate it. They honor those people who do disgusting things that we would put in jail for the rest of their lives in this country, and they do it for fun, and they pay them money to do it, and they're heroes to that nation. They've done it to friends of mine. They've done it to families who've been in this chamber. And the fact that we sit here and listen to elected officials of this country defend these lunatics who want us all dead. They want all of you dead. They want all of us dead. They don't want us to disappear with a snap of a finger. They want us to be raped, burned alive, and cut into pieces. Watch the video from October 7. That's what they want to happen from Maine to San Diego, from Seattle to Miami. They want this country turned into a burning husk of its former self, and you don't have to theorize that. That's what they do. From the 1983 barracks bombing, where 280 Marines were vaporized in a morning, from USS Cole to the Achille Lauro, to every terrorist attack, from the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas. These are not humanitarian freedom organizations. They are death-dealing cults, and they want all of us to die brutal deaths. William Buckley was abducted in 1985, an American military officer. He was skinned alive on camera by the Iranians. American prisoners of war who were captured. They were never called prisoners of war because they were captured by lunatic terrorists, so they were not subject to the Geneva Convention. They were captured and murdered, power drills through their brains. This is in Iraq. These are families that have dealt with this, and they've never gotten a single dime. These families have never gotten restitution, and not a single president has ever stood up to them. Love Donald Trump or hate him, love his policies, hate ICE, love ICE, whatever. There's never been a single president who has stood up to Iran and hit back. For 47 years, our troops and our families have been absorbing attack after attack after attack all over the world. And their radical ideology does not stop at the Persian Gulf. It doesn't stop at Tel Aviv. They want to do this everywhere. It's a global radical ideology, and we've been fighting it for half a century. We didn't start this war. We did not, but we will finish it. And forever wars are not popular with anybody these days. Both sides of the love to attack our forever wars. And I can promise you, being someone overseas wearing the uniform, when you're fighting for your country, you don't care what party's in office, but you're fighting to defend your country, and you turn on the news and see your elected officials stabbing you in the back, telling you that you're failing, that you've failed every goal of the war, is what I just heard. Last time I checked, we've wiped these bastards out. An occasional missile strike and boats in the straits, that's not military strength. Those are the flailings of a failing empire. Those are the flailings of a nation in collapse because they deserve it. So I encourage our colleagues on both sides of the aisle, whatever's politically convenient, whatever plays well on Twitter or Facebook, think about the people who are deployed right now, standing on that wall with a loaded weapon, who have volunteered to defend our country and our way of life. Because they are there defending us in a just war, because we did not start a war with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. They started it with us 47 years ago, and their attacks have gone unanswered for half a century. It's time to fix this problem and make sure another generations of Americans does not have to fight this murderous, savage adversary."

Murray: Is it true that people making under $184k pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1 million? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184k, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

BITCOIN IS MONEY FOR THE PEOPLE 🧡 - Everyday people pay capital gains tax on Bitcoin for buying coffee. - Stablecoins like USDC get $200 tax-free transactions. - This is CRONYISM. Coinbase protects its $1.35B USDC profits while Bitcoin 🗽 sound money for the people 🗽 gets punished. - Bitcoin mining still faces double taxation. - Staking gets a tax break. Bitcoin does not. - Technology-neutral taxes is fair. Bitcoin is money. NO special Privilege for Lobbyists. #FixPARITYAct #NoStablecoinPrivilege #BitcoinIsMoney
Even more concerning news today on the Bitcoin tax front. We’re going to need the Cyber Hornets for this one. 👇 Today’s new draft **leaves the double taxation on bitcoin mining in place** and only provides relief to staking. So now the proposal is: - De minimis for stablecoins but not Bitcoin - Fixing tax treatment for “passive validation” (I.e. staking) but not Bitcoin mining This contradicts all prior proposals on this issue. This is not tech neutral and picks winners and losers for no reason. Full statement from BPI coming soon about @RepHorsford and @RepMaxMiller’s draft. We need strong community push back to show that this language sets America and Bitcoin back.

On April 1st, four astronauts will embark on a historic journey as part of NASA’s Artemis II mission — the first crewed flight beyond low Earth orbit in over five decades. The mission will send the crew nearly 230,000 miles (370,000 km) from Earth, looping around the Moon before safely returning home. It marks the first time humans have traveled this far since Apollo 17 in 1972. Unlike the Apollo lunar landings, Artemis II is a critical test flight. Its primary goal is to prove that NASA’s powerful Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and the Orion spacecraft can safely carry humans through the harsh environment of deep space, where increased radiation, vast distances, and prolonged isolation present significant challenges. The international crew includes astronauts from the United States and Canada, highlighting a new era of global collaboration in lunar exploration. If successful, Artemis II will pave the way for Artemis III — the mission that aims to return humans to the lunar surface for the first time since 1972. Before we can live and work on the Moon, we must first prove we can travel there and return safely. Artemis II is that crucial first step.

We are returning to the Moon for the first time in 54 years on April 1, and no one is talking about it. NASA will provide real-time coverage throughout the mission on YouTube, along with a separate live stream from Orion whenever bandwidth allows. NASA will also hold daily mission briefings from Johnson Space Center in Houston starting Thursday, April 2, except on April 6 during lunar flyby operations.

🚨CRYPTO AND BANKS FINALLY REACH DEAL IN NEW CLARITY ACT DRAFT The latest draft of the CLARITY Act shows both sides backing a compromise on stablecoin yield rules. The deal allows rewards tied to stablecoin activity, and bans earning yield just for holding balances. Nonetheless, how “activity-based” rewards will actually work remains unclear, leaving room for future regulatory battles.

This is absolutely insane: At 7:04 AM ET today, President Trump said “the US and Iran have had productive discussions" to end the Iran War. By 7:10 AM ET, the S&P 500 surged +240 points adding +$2 TRILLION in market cap. 27 minutes later, Iran completely denied all of President Trump's claims and said there has been "no contact" with the US. By 8:00 AM ET. the S&P 500 had fallen -120 points erasing -$1 trillion in market cap. That's a $3 TRILLION swing market cap in 56 minutes, just in the S&P 500. What is happening here?

Maybe there’s a better store of value? A form that is finite, cannot be inflated, easily accessible, verifiable, and immediately transferable. #BetterMoney
China has potentially uncovered one of the world's largest gold deposits—a "supergiant" find in the Wangu gold field of Hunan Province that could contain over 1,000 metric tons of gold and be valued at approximately $83 billion. Geologists from the Hunan Geological Bureau announced the discovery in late 2024, revealing more than 40 gold-bearing veins deep beneath Pingjiang County's Wangu gold field. Initial drilling confirmed around 300 metric tons of gold resources at depths exceeding 2,000 meters (about 6,560 feet), with exceptionally high ore grades reaching up to 138 grams of gold per metric ton—far above typical high-grade benchmarks. Visible gold was observed in rock cores, underscoring the deposit's quality. Advanced 3D modeling and further exploration suggest the total resource could exceed 1,000 metric tons (some estimates reach 1,100 tons) extending as deep as 3,000 meters (nearly 10,000 feet). If verified, this would surpass South Africa's South Deep mine and position Wangu as potentially the largest known gold deposit on Earth. The find holds major strategic importance for China, the world's top gold producer and consumer. The country mines far less than it demands, relying heavily on imports; this domestic bonanza could bolster economic security, reduce import dependence, and influence global supply dynamics. News of the discovery has already sparked market interest, with analysts watching for its potential effects on gold prices amid questions about extraction feasibility at such depths. Exploration continues, and peripheral veins hint that the deposit's scale may grow even larger. While preliminary figures are promising, full confirmation through additional drilling and feasibility studies will determine its ultimate ranking among history's greatest precious-metal finds.

Resilience built in. 💪⚙️♾️ “The difficulty adjustment is the most underappreciated feature in all of Bitcoin.”
Bitcoin's mining difficulty just dropped 7.76%. That's the second largest drop of 2026. Hashrate has retreated to roughly 943 EH/s. Miners are shutting off machines. The reasons are compounding. Post-halving economics have squeezed margins with BTC around $70,600. Energy costs are climbing as the Iran conflict pushes oil above $119. And some miners are pivoting rigs to AI hosting where the margins are better right now. An estimated 8 to 10% of global Bitcoin mining operates in energy markets directly sensitive to oil and gas prices. When energy spikes and block rewards are halved, the math stops working for miners on the margin. They power down. The difficulty adjusts. The network adapts. This is Bitcoin working exactly as designed. Every other system in the world requires intervention when conditions change. The IEA is telling people to stop driving. Countries are rationing fuel. Airlines are cutting routes. Central banks are holding emergency calls. And Bitcoin's network just calmly recalibrated itself in 2,016 blocks to make mining 7.76% easier so the remaining miners can continue securing the network profitably. The difficulty adjustment is the most underappreciated feature in all of Bitcoin. It guarantees that no matter what happens in the world, whether energy prices spike, governments ban mining, or half the hashrate disappears overnight, Bitcoin keeps producing blocks roughly every 10 minutes. Difficulty is now 133.79 trillion, about 9.8% below its late 2025 peak. The weak hands are being flushed. The strong miners with cheap power and efficient hardware will absorb the hashrate when conditions improve.

One guy with AI and public SEC filings just exposed what a $31.5 billion private credit fund doesn't want you to see. @NickNemo17 no fund, no credentials, no institutional backing, parsed the filings for Cliffwater. What he found should terrify anyone with a pension or an annuity. The fund reports a 41-month win streak. Zero losing months. A Sharpe ratio of 3.75. For context, Bernie Madoff, who could pick any number he wanted because he was fabricating returns, chose a Sharpe of 3.5. That's how Harry Markopolos caught him. The returns were too smooth. Nick found 50 non-accruals using public filings. The fund reports zero. He found loans marked at par on businesses that have been "functionally eliminated by AI and Google." Borrowers paying 10.6% all-in on debt they can never service. No structural protection, every dollar of loss hits the fund dollar for dollar. And this isn't unique to Cliffwater. There's $13 trillion in private equity and private credit that marks its own homework. Every fund that pays its own valuation agent has the same conflict. Insurance companies backing this are levered 20-50x. This is your pension money. Your annuity. Your retirement. And it's being valued by the people who get paid more when the marks are higher.

The Clarity Act is a bad bill. It's special interest regulatory capture masquerading as regulatory clarity. Passing no bill is better than passing a bad bill. @bitcoinpolicy should oppose this bill. The best way to advance a bitcoin agenda is to block @Coinbase's agenda.
