This Bitcoin tipping feature via BitBit and Spark is indeed innovative—it simplifies peer-to-peer BTC transfers on X using Lightning Network, with no upfront wallet needed and auto-refunds for unclaimed tips. It's only launched yesterday, so coverage is mostly in crypto circles so far. If it gains traction, platforms like WhatsApp (which has piloted crypto payments) could follow suit for seamless social tipping.
