Steve Jobs had a phone book. You have data. The difference? Today, you can use that data to find the right accounts, enrich your leads, spot buying signals, and reach out when the timing is right. That’s what Bitscale is built for. #gtm #sales

We launched Saydata on PH 3 years ago and closed it in 8 months! We worked our asses off for getting this ready for launch and the outcome was beyond our expectations: 1. We were product of the day 2. Product of the week 3. 100+ signups and sales conversations 4. Icing on the cake was a call from YC We went heads down in to building and sales. We also had a few >$10k POCs going on. We almost seemed to have made it. And then, there was a major slump. 1. The POCs didnot get converted to Annual Contracts 2. The inhouse model released by me achieved 85% on SQL benchmarks, not good enough for production environments 3. Teams were not behind our backs to get it deployed. Along the way we realised these things: 1. Saydata was cool, for individuals and companies alike 2. But for our target segment of Product & Marketing, even a 5% error rate was not acceptable. They were not going to debug the results and any error was breach of trust. 3. And getting it to be deployed in companies become a service offering, this didnot make sense for us. We wanted to scale and not be a services offering. This didnot work for us at that time. And we saw this happening all around us as well. Our competitors were raising and launching. There was a competitor coming every day, claiming to solve the entire data engineering and analytics space. Even companies like Atlan announced fancy videos of this feature coming in. But no one had anything solid. We realised that this was just a tarpit idea - fancy on the outside but no real value and scalability for a startup. All of this came to this final thought: The databases of each company is most messiest thing in the company. too much tribal knowledge and no documentation. Adding an AI layer on top was a second level problem. No one had even solved the first one. And if a company like Atlan, who were the most well placed for this, was unable to release anything substantial then the problem was not worth solving for a startup like ours then. So we took the decision of letting go of all the POCs, model development. And went to Ground zero in the begining of 2024. Then we had 6 months of purely no movement and a lot of questions, self-reflection exploring markets before it finally clicked with Bitscale. Sharing this for the first time here - these 6 months were the most brutal at that time. In retrospect it feels like the only way through for us.

One agency partner earned ~$2700 in commissions in July. This agency onboarded on Bitscale just 4 months ago and have already killed it! All small B2B agencies that want to grow: partner up with great products that are an easy sell and make your service lucrative. Donot leave this easy money on the table.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about how we built a Clay alternative from India. Honestly, I didn't expect that thread to reach so many people. We had customers reach out. We had founders reach out. We even had a few global investors DM us.

1/ We built a Clay alternative out of India. 7-figure ARR. Profitable. And 7 of our last 10 customers switched to us from Clay ($100M+ ARR). 3 years ago we quit high-paying jobs and failed twice before this. The reason it finally worked is almost embarrassingly boring 🧵

Every product now: “we have an AI agent” “Ask anything! Automate everything!” Reality: chatbot with better branding. Agents only work when things are actually messy or your product has actual depth. Otherwise… congrats, you built a chatbox.

Guess it’s time I stop lurking and actually post here We've been deep in building @bit_scale testing ideas, breaking things, figuring stuff out as we go I've finally decided to start sharing the behind the scenes, process, and a bit of the chaos that comes with it should be fun!

First post here, thought I’d share a quick snapshot of what I’ve been working on lately. I’ve been getting deep into outbound. Testing what clicks and what doesn’t. Biggest learning? Outbound isn’t volume, it’s relevance.

Would love to talk with anyone in my network who has managed and setup partner/affiliate management processes inside their CRM. We have had our partner program for a few months. We are looking to scale and streamline the process of onboarding, management and attribution in our CRM. Currently I am trying to figure out a better way to do this through a combination of chatgpt 5.1 and claude 4.1 chats but would appreciate any expert opinions on this. We have Attio as our CRM and that connects to Bitscale and a few other platforms and the team can make any systems that can be build. Manifesting this into the twitter algorithm universe for any help 🙏
