£90 BILLION !!!
Brexit cost an estimated £90 billion in lost tax revenue in 2025 alone. That money could have eased the tax burden on working people and funded our NHS and public services. I welcome the Prime Minister’s opening to Europe, but he must go further. Rejoining the single market and a customs union would bring growth and prosperity back to Britain. With war in Europe and an unpredictable White House, our security also depends on standing with our closest neighbours - cross-border problems need cross-border solutions.

This is what oil trapped at Hormuz looks like. Hundreds of ships are stuck or waiting around the Strait of Hormuz. This is not AI. It is real footage. This is the energy fallout of the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, which has disrupted one of the world’s most important oil routes. And Trump is blaming Zelenskyy and Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries for the global diesel squeeze. Ukraine is striking the refining infrastructure of the country that invaded it. The tankers in this video are stranded thousands of kilometers away. Show this video to anyone being told Kyiv caused the world’s fuel problem.

Finally, an American Who Looks Like the Brochure 🇺🇸👏! There is a particular kind of American that we Europeans were raised on, a man with a jaw like a filing cabinet who speaks quietly because he has never once needed to raise his voice, and on Monday in Warsaw one of them actually turned up. Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, NATO's top commander, explained that a Russian attack would be futile, and he did it with the mild patience of someone telling a toddler that the oven is hot. His theory of victory, which all 32 allies back, is that NATO will destroy "anything and everything" keeping an attacking force alive, with land forces rushing to the breach while aircraft, ships, space and cyber units dismantle whatever sits behind it. War, he added, is neither imminent nor inevitable, and he said this only weeks after Moscow waved its nuclear arsenal about over Kaliningrad. It was glorious, and it was also deeply embarrassing for the failed Trump regime, whose parade of beta males has spent years stamping its little feet, threatening its friends and flattering its enemies in the belief that this is what strength looks like. Then a proper American walks into a room in Warsaw, speaks for a few minutes without shouting at anyone, and the whole lot of them are revealed as what they always were, which is frightened little men in oversized suits playing soldiers while the grown-ups get on with defending the continent.
NATO has finally put its conventional war plan into plain English. If Russia attacks allied territory, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander says the alliance will block the assault, blunt its momentum, then break the military system sustaining it, including logistics, communications and command. Good. Moscow now knows what a conventional war could cost. But there is a glaring hole. Russia is already attacking Europe below that threshold: sabotage, cyber operations, drones, proxy networks, infrastructure attacks and suspected assassination plots. NATO knows how it intends to win the war Russia cannot afford to start. What Europe still lacks is an equally clear theory for winning the war Russia is already fighting. That is the problem our article tackles.

🚨 Former MI6 chief Sir Richard Moore says he is “very confident” Russia would have interfered in the Brexit debate and would be surprised if there had been no Russian activity. This really matters bc Farage is still insisting there was no interference at all. The argument now isn’t whether Russia has a history of manipulating divisive Western political issues, the former head of MI6 says that is exactly what they do. The unanswered question is what they did in 2016, who knew about it, and why Britain never properly investigated it.

In 1940 Britain desperately needed a new fighter aircraft to fight the Germans. An American company nobody had heard of promised they could design and build an entirely new fighter in 120 days. They delivered it in 117. The aircraft they built became one of the most important fighters of the entire Second World War. This is the story of the P-51 Mustang..🧵1/5

The Kremlin intelligence psyop that has been poisoning American politics for decades is literally burning. Ukraine removed all the Russian bots on social media, just in time for the US midterm election. Ukraine really is defending the entire free world! Thank you, Ukraine! 💛💙

Here it is. This is the clip from yesterday's @CNN interview where I'm asked - for first time ever - about Brexit-Trump-Russia. "These vital questions of national security have been interpreted as about politics. And it's not about politics. It's about power. And about Putin."

In 2024, the late former MI6 chief Sir Alex Younger delivered a warning Britain should have taken far more seriously: “Putin would’ve been absolutely delighted by our decision [to leave the EU], and so would Xi.” “We’ve made ourselves irrelevant.” “France has effectively eclipsed us.” “Brexit has marginalised us. It was kind of intended to do exactly that.” Now @andyburnham says British authorities have confirmed that Russia interfered in the 2016 referendum. Put those facts together. Putin wanted a weaker, divided Europe. Brexit removed one of Europe’s strongest military and diplomatic powers, diminished Britain’s influence and left us more exposed in a world dominated by larger blocs. Russia did not merely welcome that outcome: it interfered in the democratic process that produced it. Publish the intelligence assessment. Establish an independent inquiry. Follow the evidence wherever it leads. Then secure our democracy properly before asking the British people to vote on our European future again.
Former MI6 chief, Sir Alex Younger gives some Brexit truths. “Putin would’ve been absolutely delighted by our decision (to leave the EU) and so would Xi.” “Particularly since I've left office and I've travelled around Europe, I'm profoundly depressed. “Just nobody mentions the UK. We've made ourselves irrelevant. And this is extraordinary. The beginning part of this century, we were the dominant force. France has effectively eclipsed us and you just don't hear a discussion of us.” “I think Brexit has Brexit has marginalised us. It was kind of intended to do exactly that.”

One day we will look back on this period in American history not just in severe embarrassment but with complete incomprehension. How did this happen? How did Idiocracy become real life in the richest, and one of the most educated, societies in human history?

Absolutely. I stand with Ukraine in gratitude to their people for fighting for our freedoms every damn day. President Zelenskyy has demonstrated extraordinary resolve, bravery and leadership. Putin is a war criminal and mass murderer,
Peace in Ukraine is easy - Putin can stop his invasion any time. President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people are on the frontline fighting for the right of free people to resist tyranny and murder. America's history of fighting for freedom is a beacon of hope to the world. Presidents Rooseveldt, Eisenhower, Reagan and more have stood up to tyrants. They remind us why we support the people of Ukraine.
