If you are trying to understand how Tinubu has destroyed the purchasing power of a worker earning a minimum wage of N70k per month, let me tell you this: In the US, a person earning the lowest baseline federal salary ($1,256/month before taxes) would spend roughly 7.8% of their monthly income to buy a heavy 50kg bag of rice. How did I get that? In the US, the lowest minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. If you work 8 hours per day and 21 days in a month, you'd get roughly that amount. In Nigeria, the minimum wage is N70k per month. A person earning N70k per month will spend 93% of their monthly take home on a bag of rice. Tell me which other type of wickedness is worst than this? A clueless man who just wanted power by hook or by crook. And a man who has introduced thuggery, religious and tribalistic bigotry into Nigerian politics and governance. End.

A PERSONAL APPEAL FOR YOUR SUPPORT Dear Friends & supporters, I am reaching out to you not just as a candidate seeking your support, but as someone who sincerely believes that Surulere 1 deserves a better future and leadership that truly listens, cares, and delivers. My decision to contest for the Federal House of Representatives under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is driven by my desire to serve our people, give a stronger voice to our communities, and contribute to meaningful development in Surulere 1 Federal Constituency. This journey has not been easy. I have taken on the financial responsibilities of this campaign myself, and the demands have been enormous. Despite the challenges, my commitment to this vision remains strong. However, I have come to realise that a mission of this magnitude cannot be accomplished alone. It requires the support, encouragement, prayers, and contributions of people who believe in the same vision. That is why I am reaching out to all those who believe in me. I humbly ask you to stand with me and support this campaign financially or materially, according to your ability. No contribution is too small, and every act of support will mean a great deal to me. Beyond the financial assistance, your support will remind me that I am not walking this road alone and that there are people who believe in what we are trying to achieve together. If you believe in my aspiration and share my hope for a better Surulere 1, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Account details for your kind contribution: Bank: First Bank Plc Account Name: Surulere 1 Win Team Account Number: 2043175172 For enquiries: 08142354951 Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal. FUNSO DOHERTY: TACKLING THE AGBERO CHALLENGE REQUIRES THE COURAGE TO CONFRONT ITS POLITICAL ROOTS “To solve the agbero problem in Lagos State, you must remove APC from Lagos.” -HE Funso Doherty The debate over the persistent challenge of street-level extortion, intimidation, and the activities of touts popularly known as agberos in Lagos State has taken a political turn following a strong statement by the Governorship Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), HE Funso Doherty. His position raises a fundamental question about governance in Lagos: can the problem of agberoism be effectively addressed without confronting the political and institutional structures that critics believe allow it to persist? For many Lagos residents, concerns about street-level harassment, transport-related extortion, intimidation, and the conduct of informal transport groups remain important public issues. Addressing these concerns requires more than public declarations. It demands political will, effective law enforcement, transparent regulation, and a government prepared to protect residents and businesses from unlawful practices. Doherty's statement challenges Lagosians to examine the relationship between political power and the persistence of these problems. His argument is that meaningful reform requires a willingness to confront the structures that sustain the status quo, rather than merely treating the symptoms. The allegation that the APC-led political establishment has enabled or benefited from agberoism is a serious political claim and remains a matter for public scrutiny. Nevertheless, it highlights an important governance question: can any administration successfully dismantle a system if the political will to confront its underlying causes is absent? A credible solution must begin with clear policies, impartial enforcement of the law, accountability for public officials, and the protection of citizens from extortion and intimidation. It must also provide a lawful framework for commercial transport operations while ensuring that no individual or group operates above the law. For Lagos to make lasting progress, the conversation must move beyond political rhetoric to measurable commitments and demonstrable results. Residents deserve a transport environment where movement is safe, businesses can operate without intimidation, and public authority serves the interests of the people. Doherty's declaration therefore serves as a call for Lagosians to scrutinise the political choices before them and demand accountability from those seeking public office. The ultimate test of leadership will be its willingness and ability to confront unlawful practices, regardless of who is responsible. The challenge before Lagos is clear: end impunity, restore public confidence, and build a system in which the law applies equally to everyone. Ó TÍ YÁ! A New Lagos Is Possible. Lol, Wetin tinubu do this Yoruba guy?🤣🤣🤣 “All this narrative that APC has structure….We Nigerians that are feeling the heat ARE THE STRUCTURE. I’m personally erecting a banner for Peter Obi in Badagry, I’m not a party man and I didn’t collect money, I’m doing it voluntarily. Peter Obi is the man with accountability and credibility. Even if tinubu is attacked verbally, it’s because of his policies….As it stands, Nigerians have woken up; I can tell you a lot of people who voted for tinubu because he’s a yoruba man but now they’re feeling the heat. The hardship that Nigerians are facing has never been witnessed before in history. Married men wearing suit/tie are LAPPING themselves because of the increase in transport cost…..” — Man gives tinubu a piece of his mind.

Happy Sunday. May it be well with Nigeria we can only bring it to pass when we choose rightly When the righteous rules the people rejoice and when the wicked rules the people mourn. How will the righteous rule if they don’t get into politics. This is my word to u this Sunday Vote wisely Vote a person who will build institutions not individualize Nigeria to himself We are where we are because good people refuse to accept governance as their responsibility to this nation Vote For Peter Obi and vote for me his soldier so we can put Nigeria back on the track of greatness Vote NDC

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in any of those 8 Hospitals would have easily saved Toluwanisings. One costs around $2,300 and only one of Tinubu's campaign Buses can easily buy at least 25 AED. Tinubu's campaign team using our subsidy removal funds could afford thousands of campaign buses but couldn't afford AEDs to save our lives in the death traps we call hospitals. Vote for your life by voting Tinubu out

I bought Petrol N1,405 at NNPC, 20k gave me 14Liters. Just because I want to go to Idoma descendants function in Wuye in Amac FCT from Gwagwalada that is not up to 120 km to and fro. This same amount could take me from Abuja to Agege in Lagos during Buhari's reign, That is enough campaign jingles for me to know who I should not vote — A Nigerian Yoruba elder complains
