PSDI 2024 in Paris - a great meeting to get in touch with structural biologists from industry and academia!
ATSAS 4.0 has been released! Download now at
biosaxs.com/download
and check out its brand new features:
- save your work in a project file
- start GUI programs from an intuitive launcher
- improved CHROMIXS and PEAK
- more wizards make your life easy
First sort - then scatter. Check out the benefits of using FFF technology to obtain size-dependent information on particle characteristics.
A new technology co-developed at EMBL Hamburg will help accelerate the development of mRNA vaccines and other nanomedicines.
It’s the first method to directly and quantitatively measure parameters key for ensuring nanomedicines’ quality.

ALT Cartoon showing nanoparticles on a conveyor belt passing through a machine. They are ordered by size and the smallest one pass through the machine before the bigger ones. A ray of light enters the machine, where a nanoparticle is being scanned, and leaves it on the other side. A monitor on top of the scanning machine shows an X-ray of a nanoparticle.

It was great being part of this wonderful workshop and participating in a wide range of data collection strategies. Temperature scans, unfolding/folding events, complex formation & even SAXS coupled to FFF (Field-Flow-Fractionation) -- now available at P12!
With blue skies, snow and great prizes sponsored by @biosaxs we wrapped up the second part of our Soulution Scattering Workshop. Motivated by the enthusiasm of the next generation of scatters we look forward to seeing SAXS evolve further during these exciting times

One of the powerful advantages of #SAXS is the ability to measure in solution. Here, the solubility of fatty acids and effects on formulation safety were addressed.
Formulation studies at P12. Check out how Small-angle x-ray scattering was used to investigate the integration of free fatty acids in polysorbate 20 micelles. BTW, connect to @biosaxs if you want to learn more about industrial access at P12.

To industry users of #ATSAS online: unfortunately the service is down due to a power cut. We expect it to be back online on Tuesday.
To all #ATSAS fans out there. We are working on getting our pages up and running again after a power cut. Please be patient. And to those who celebrate, Happy Easter and lots of chocolate eggs!
The new SAXS table is out!
Dear Scatter Enthusiasts,
the new template tables for showing your SAS data are available -- a great community effort with special thanks to Jill for being a continuous driving force in this effort.
