6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united. I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍

And the conversations he had with them tell a story too. He kept talking about how much he achieved while living in that house before moving into his own place. He got married there, had his three children there, got a job, and became a Chartered Accountant. 💔

My dad passed on September 21, but he visited our former neighbours at the house we grew up in on October 1. It was that same day that the people there found out he had passed. Normally, I wouldn’t believe stories like this, but the person who told us was so sure of this.
My Dad passed around 5am that Monday morning after vomiting blood through the night. He was pronounced dead at 5:45am, something weird happened after he died Saturday, 5 days after he passed, we were supposed to visit my sister in school, it was her visiting day My younger sister was in boarding school at the time. One of our church members whose children were in same school as my sister visited the school, she gave my sister food and provisions My sister was excited that her cupboard will be full, she said my late Dad (who passed on Monday) came about 2 hours ago and brought lots of provisions for her The woman was shocked because her pastor (my dad) was late She didn't say anything, she came back to report to us Everybody became worried We had to inform her school about what happened to my Dad and they released her to us When she came home and learned about my dad's passing, she fainted She was resuscitated, it's been 13 years and till today, we wonder the Angel that visited her in school that holy Saturday Have you heard something like this before? It happened to us

Planning my dad’s funeral has to be one of the most overwhelming things I’ve ever had to do in my life. 💔 Beyond the logistics, the vendors, the costs and all the decisions that have to be made, there’s the reality that my dad is actually not coming back.

And the thought that he won’t be here to witness our big days hurts so much. He wanted to live. He wanted to see us get married, celebrate our achievements, and be there for all the moments he had prayed for. I wish Daddy had more time. 💔🕊️

It’s weird that some of you don’t realise that a toxic relationship can take you from a 10/10 to a 0/10. 😭 A relationship where there’s no peace? How exactly do you expect yourself to glow? Peace of mind is everything fr!

Sending CV to nigerian companies is just one hell of a hassle. They do not communicate if they get them. They do not communicate if youre not picked. You send a follow up, still silence. Everything for this side just dey anyhow.

~ And tbh something needs to be done about the rents in Lagos. From next year, a lot of people will simply be working to pay rent. And subsequent years, no comment.

Wait! Don’t you “Christian girls” pray before getting into relationship with any man? You guys don’t pray for discernment or what? If you truly/genuinely pray, God will reveal the intent of that man to you. Infact, He can play tapes for you like cinema. PRAY!!

Imagine going from celebrating someone to suddenly posting “Rest in Peace.” 😭 The plan was to deliver his birthday cake to him at work on Monday morning. We were making plans to celebrate my daddy, and instead, we woke up to something completely different.

My sweet father passed away in the early hours of today. 💔 This man was in Kenya in July for an assignment that came with his PhD programme, even while fighting that evil ailment. My daddy fought till the very end. He passed away just a day after his 63rd birthday.
Me at 23: I’m not sure I’ll be getting a masters degree, I’m tired of reading abeg. My father at 60:
