park jeong min praises hyunbin’s charisma and acting park jeong min: i mean, the things hyun bin has as an actor… his charisma and likability… i think those things blended really well with baek ki tae, so i think they created a really attractive character. so actually, these days, when i see what bin hyung is doing, i even feel a little bit of awe. how did the hyung who used to appear in back then, after all these years, come to have this kind of energy? how did he become capable of this? as a viewer, as an audience member, and as a fan, i’ve watched this actor’s journey, you know. park eun kyo: that’s right. park jeong min: it feels like he’s becoming more and more solid. and even when i see him in private, he just has this kind of cool energy about him. i think that played a part too. park eun kyo: that’s right. woo min ho: that’s the aura that actor has. park jeong min: right. he was really, really cool. i think baek ki tae will probably be one of those characters that hyun bin won’t be able to forget, and that he’ll keep with him for the rest of his life. woo min ho: i actually say things like that from time to time. we did it for a long time, since we worked on seasons 1 and 2. i think i’ve actually said something like this to actor hyun bin before. the reason hyun bin was able to pull off baek ki tae so well was probably because he had already taken on a really difficult role like ahn jung geun… park jeong min: ah, yes, yes. that could be the case. woo min ho: because he had already climbed over that mountain once, maybe that’s why he was able to do this with that much strength again. woo min ho: that’s just my thought. park jeong min: that really does make sense. #hyunbin #parkjeongmin

hyun bin on saying goodbye to baek ki taeㅠ #hyunbin: .. we’ve been working on this project for quite a long time. if i remember correctly, we started filming in july 2021, and i think we finished filming this year in march. of course, there was a break in between while we prepared the sets, but even throughout my career as an actor, this was the first time i had spent such a long time with one project and one character, thinking about them, acting as them, and living with that character in my mind. so, honestly, i’m still not ready to let ki tae go. ki tae is still in a corner of my heart. and even watching it again today on such a big screen… it’s already been about 6 months since we finished filming, but to me, every single scene still feels so vivid, as if it all happened just the other day… but i guess the people who watched this project understood how we felt, because so many of you have really enjoyed it and shown interest in the series. and i feel like the people who are here with us today, sharing this time with us, are also among those people. so, once again, i sincerely want to thank you. and i hope that, for all of you as well, ki tae or made in korea as a whole, will be a work that leaves at least a little bit of an aftertaste, something that stays with you. and i hope it will be a character and a work that you remember. once again, thank you sincerely. i hope you all have a wonderful and happy holiday with your families. thank you" #hyunbin #madeinkoreas2 #현빈
