I tried this out yesterday and it's incredible: download a 4GB binary, child 755 it and now you have a full LLM and the software needed to run it ready to go, with multiplied operating system platforms supported by that single file
I spent the last month building llamafile which is the fattest executable file format ever. It lets you turn LLM weights into runnable llama.cpp binaries using cosmo libc. github.com/mozilla-Ocho/llam… Blog post: hacks.mozilla.org/2023/11/in…

1/ Just want to put this news in plain language for people.
Senior people at Twitter have resigned in the last 48 hours. We now now why. They said in private Slack channels that @elonmusk is so desperate to recoup his money, he’s taking crazy risks with YOUR privacy and safety.

With Twitter's change in ownership last week, I'm probably in the clear to talk about the most unethical thing I was asked to build while working at Twitter.

An odd infosec-startup secret is how low the bar is, even from a business p.o.v.
People think they need Facebook numbers, but if you have 2000 happy, paying customers, you will be better than huge swaths of the RSAC floor.
More hax0rs should try. We need more things that work..

Today in IP law: someone registered a trademark for CUGGL as a clothing brand in Japan, and sells shirts with the logo partially obscured. GUCCI sued, JP trademark office states that CUGGL is not similar enough to GUCCI to warrant enforcement.

One of the downsides of having worked at Google is that one has seen a lot of good infrastructure which reduces ones tolerance for bad infrastructure.
