UH not going for 2 there is so far down on the reasons Hawaii lost. Anyone ask about the timeout under 2:40 in the fourth quarter?
Timmy Chang on #HawaiiFB struggles with penalties & the decision to not go for 2 on the lone TD of the night.
FINAL: San Jose State 20, #HawaiiFB 16. UH falls to 1-4 and 0-3 in conference. No words.
#HawaiiFB will get the ball back after San Jose State kicks a field goal to go up 20-16 with 1:15 to go.
#HawaiiFB gave up the first down on fourth down with 2:50 to go. SJSU would have been forced to run a first-down play before the 2-min warning, which stops the clock. Hawaii had two timeouts to stop two plays after the 2-min warning. Costs them 35 seconds at least.
I thought Hawaii had three timeouts. It had two apparently. UH kind of blew that. Waited too long to call the first one. Gonna cost them.
Spartans convert. First-and-goal at the UH 9 with 2:44 to go. Hawaii uses its first timeout. #HawaiiFB
Here we go. Fourth-and-1 at the UH 12. 3 min to go. UH with two timeouts. #HawaiiFB
WIDE RIGHT. San Jose State is no good from 41 yards and UH takes over down a point with 7:48 to go. #HawaiiFB
Sean Olvera-Harle is 3-for-3 on field-goal tries and #HawaiiFB now trails San Jose State, 17-16. Plenty of time left in the fourth quarter.
END 3: San Jose State 17, #HawaiiFB 13. Micah Alejado 17-24, 314 yards, TD, INT.
Devin Alves where have you been? 58-yard TD catch from Micah Alejado and everything has changed at Ching Complex. San Jose State 14, #HawaiiFB 13, 3:20, Q3.
#HawaiiFB cuts further into the SJSU lead with a short field goal. Warriors have outgained the Spartans by more than 120 yards but trail 14-6, 5:14, Q3.
#HawaiiFB then boots the kickoff out of bounds before it even hits the 20.
Devin Alves with a 49-yard reception to start the second half and then two false-start penalties and a hold and it ends up a 44-yard field goal by UH despite its best efforts not to score. SJSU 14, #HawaiiFB 3, 11:46, Q3.
HALFTIME: San Jose State 14, #HawaiiFB 0 and it could have been worse. Alejado 10-14, 146 yards with a pick. UH with seven points or less in the first half for the fourth time this season. Brutal.
#HawaiiFB trailing 14-0 with 6:08 to go in the first half and San Jose gets the ball to start the second half. I don't wanna say the season is on the line in this one drive....but it kinda is.

Former Warrior @luke_weaver2 connects on 10-yard scoring pass to Campbell alumnus @kamaehu_76south to give Spartans 7-0 lead over @HawaiiFootball with 12:01 left in first half.
Review is upheld and the Spartans take over. Can't play the result. I didn't mind going for it and didn't mind the call. Just didn't execute. Another empty red zone trip for #HawaiiFB
Unfortunately Carson Brown is headed to the locker room after this catch. #HawaiiFB
Still no deep completions for @HawaiiFootball but @carsonbrown824 turns a 12-yard catch into a 32-yard gain to the SJSU 13.
