After Daniel Dubois lost to Joe Joyce in November 2020, age 23. Dubois had quit in Round 10 after suffering a broken eye socket.
The British Boxing media/fans heavily scrutinised Dubois. Even BJ Saunders completely wrote off Dubois in the post fight. This video didn’t age well..

🚨Former World Champion Liam Smith allegedly "delivered two strikes to the head of somebody lying on the floor who's unable to stand." Manchester Crown Court has heard
CCTV cameras also recorded Smith allegedly "pushing past people to resume the incident, punching someone on the ground"
Judge Tom Gilbart adjourned the hearing until 28 November. Smith was told to be ready to enter his pleas on that date, a provisional trial date for the week commencing 15 March 2028

The FazSports situation just highlights how unserious the boxing media landscape is. Literally anyone can wake up one day and say, “I’m gonna be a boxing reporter,” start reporting 'news' and 'exclusives' and all of a sudden they’re everywhere being cited as a legit source
