So what do bronze statues start as? Clay-sculpt Mold- pour wax. De mold clean wax Sprue and vent wax. Mold in high temp plaster. Sterilizer to 300F at 14psi. then burn out in kiln for 14 hours at 1100F Then melt bronze 2100F Then move mold to a vacuum machine and the molten bronze. Then clean bronze and chase. weld blend away sprue and vents then Paten Heat the bronze and add chemicals to get desired color effect in the metal
