Fantastic evening @HenleyLitFest in the company of @HallieRubenhold discussing the themes in her new book - the crimes of Dr Crippens (and Ethel!) and more importantly the rewriting of the story History has held of his victim, Belle. Very excited to start reading!
Lastly for today @HenleyLitFest the wonderful Michael Palin & a highlights tour of his trip to Venezuela-a country of extremes in so many ways. An evening filled with insights & anecdotes from his travels & how the Fish Slapping dance is still making people laugh to this day!
2nd session today @HenleyLitFest the great @benyoungs09 - lots of anecdotes & personal reflections of key events in life &rugby that shaped his spectacular career! As a @SaleSharksRugby gal it was great to hear him single out Fordy & TCurry as modern day greats of the game!
First of 3 sessions @HenleyLitFest today: Mary Portas - astute, funny and some great insight into making business authentic and successful!
Lovely opening evening @HenleyLitFest in the company of the enchanting Joanna Lumley and the hilarious Gyles Brandreth
