i love that i’ve reached a point where i don’t feel like i’m missing out on anything. i can stay home on a saturday, put my phone down & enjoy my own little routine without wondering what everybody else got going on. i’m genuinely happy in my own world.

Dubai has the most unrealistic standards for government services. I wanted to rent a car on Sunday, had the thought on Saturday night. I realized I need an Emirati license as I am a resident so have to convert my current one. Started my application online, went to the 24/7 happiness centre that processes any government related issue. Got an eye test, waited 2 minutes, got the new license printed on the spot. Whole thing took 30 minutes. They even had a cafe in the centre and were walking around with a jug giving out arabic coffee. I love this place
