BARBECUES SHOULDN'T BE DISPOSABLE - Barbecues are often bought cheaply, used a couple of times, then thrown away because they’re shoddily made. The quality of a Big Green Egg's materials & engineering mean it’ll last a lifetime. In fact, it's *guaranteed* to #NationalBarbecueWeek

A BARBECUE ISN'T JUST FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS Most barbecues are slow to light and hard to control, turning cooking into an endurance sport. A Big Green Egg (particularly the MiniMax) gets to temperature quickly so you can use it any day of the week. #nationalbarbecueweek

BARBECUING ISN'T A SUMMER ACTIVITY: As the Big Green Egg's patented ceramics are completely weatherproof, you can fire up any day of the year. Which is why, to us, barbecuing is as much about comforting winter dishes as it is about light summer fare. #nationalbarbecueweek

BARBECUING ISN'T JUST ABOUT MEAT: Yes, you can cook a mean brisket on a Big Green Egg but as there are very few ingredients that don't come alive when coming into contact with fire, fish, vegetables or even desserts can easily become stars of the show. #nationalbarbecueweek

BARBECUING IS NOT JUST ABOUT GRILLING: A Big Green Egg can sear steaks with the best of them, but it's also a slow cooker, stove, tandoor, pizza oven... In short, anything you can cook in your kitchen you can cook on an EGG (but with tastier results!) #nationalbarbecueweek

A recipe befitting on a #PlatinumJubilee bank holiday weekend: crown of lamb. This somewhat retro dish certainly makes an impression. Good enough to be eaten by royalty; almost elegant enough to be worn by them. biggreenegg.co.uk/r/crown-ro…
