With a saddened heart, we have learned that Jim Toman's lengthy battle with brain cancer ended peacefully this morning.
Affectionally known as "Storm" & "The Big Guy" as he famously worked alongside Ray Tanner at NC State & South Carolina, this fun-loving baseball legend was later the HC at Liberty & Middle Tennessee St. while also making a coaching stop at C of C.
Toman's passion for life, baseball knowledge & huge personality will be deeply missed.

Before you get excited about this JUCO Eligibility rule, some of you better go D1, D2,D3, or NAIA where you’re protected! A week of JUCO life will break some of you!
In terms of baseball, this is actually such a weird thing, go to a JUCO, you get two years of draft eligibility, then and additional 4 chances at an NCAA school. Going to be crazy…. In other news, I’m pretty sure I have two years left now, so if any school is interested lmk
Nothing better than college baseball opening day, and snow in the forecast! Let’s go @MizzouBaseball #MIZ

It’s still absolutely surreal seeing ESPN aggressively promote a Mizzou NY6 bowl.
Was dozing off during the First Responder Bowl until I heard Cody Schrader’s name mentioned on air and it hit harder than a smelling salt.

FYI, since 1992, 14 SEC rushing leaders played on 10-win teams. And 10 of those 14 players finished top 10 in Heisman voting - with eight in the top five.
Just saying ...

“We didn’t build this team off of chasing records.”
Cody Schrader's selfless mentality after Coach Drink wanted to see him break the school record 👏💯

Just preparing myself to see another Mizzou athletic facility master reconstruction where Taylor stadium stays the exact same with no attention added
