“Now all governments and businesses need to turn these pledges into real-economy outcomes, without delay.” -- Umm, have you ever met businesses and governments?
If only Atlanta's professional baseball team would wake up and do the same. Also stop with the horrible "tomahawk chop" espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/3817…
Was recently asked how much a local (NL based) podcast studio/service costs. Strangely, other than my own former freelance costs I actually didn't know what these places charge.

Dear @hulu and @DisneyPlus,
Your forms need updating.
I'm cancelling bc I support the #WGAstrike and was shocked today to hear that streaming execs think the best way at a solution is to starve the strikers through OCT.
I'm sorry ur mommas didn't raise you better.

Happy 100th episode to @busblog and @hearinladotcom . Listening and enjoying, just as I used to read and enjoy over 20 years ago.
So the supremes say no to AA for uni admissions. Schools could now focus on attracting and accepting people from low-income families. Until scotus bans that too.

I just found my @DHLNL package containing my child's new passport and birth documents in the middle of the street one block from my house. It had been run over many times. Thankfully i spotted it and it's contents are flat paper anyway ✅

Teixeira; It's pronounced 'Tay Shea Rah' America. It's a super common Portuguese-American last name and it hurts my ears with the silly hard X like Texas.

A few times a year I try to subscribe to different podcasts on a wide range of topics. Last month I started with @VintageVideoPod and I've grown to really enjoy it. If you enjoy 80's movies (as I do) and have a strange/sick wish to relive them, this is a really fun way.
Any of my friends out there using Anchor aka Spotify for Podcasters? Just curious. I can usually tell by listening, the clunky, segment based structure is easy to hear.
Spotify, like so many popular tools, is betting that users don't want to know how things work and don't like having options or control over small details of their productions. I'm obviously a dinosaur in podcasting; I insist on having control over small details.
Noticed Spotify rebranded Anchor as Spotify for Podcasters or "Podcasters" as an app name. It's interesting how confident they've become that they know what producers want; minimal options, everything drag and drop and mobile.
If your goal is to create a healthy, safe environment for citizens, dont name your program "scorpion", for starters.
