🚨MEET SAYLOR GRAHAM. SHE’S ONLY SEVEN YEARS OLD. AND SHE’S FIGHTING TO RECOVER AFTER BEING SHOT IN THE FACE AT SCHOOL.
I want everyone to take a moment to look at this beautiful little girl.
Her name is Saylor Graham, and she is one of the youngest survivors of yesterday’s horrific mass shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon.
Saylor, who uses a wheelchair and already lives with significant medical challenges, was inside the classroom when 16-year-old Griffin J. John II opened fire with a 12-gauge shotgun, killing three children and a 25-year-old teacher.
Saylor survived.
And tonight, there is some encouraging news.
According to the Bend Police Department’s latest update, Saylor received lifesaving treatment at the scene and is now hospitalized at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where she remains in serious but stable condition.
This little girl and her family were already fighting battles long before a gunman entered her classroom.
According to a GoFundMe established to support her recovery, Saylor has numerous existing medical needs. Her parents are both self-employed, and caring for their daughter has already significantly limited their ability to work.
Now they’re facing an unimaginable additional burden.
Hospital expenses. Travel. Lodging. Lost income. And the uncertainty of what Saylor’s recovery will require in the weeks and months ahead.
I’m sharing the fundraiser below for anyone who would like to help.
If you cannot contribute financially, I’m asking you to do something else.
Pray for Saylor. Pray for her parents. Pray for her medical team. And pray for every family whose life was forever changed yesterday. Please also share her story and her fundraiser everywhere. 
Four innocent people didn’t get to come home. Saylor did survive, and I’m praying this beautiful little girl continues to fight her way back to the life she deserves.

Our hearts are with the family of Megan Lambert, who has been identified as the teacher shot and killed yesterday at Silver Rail Elementary School.
Megan was only 25-years-old.
In a statement, Megan’s family shared the following: “She loved Silver Rail. This was her dream job. Megan was compassionate and had a huge heart. She always fought for the underdog and those with special needs… We would like the other families to know they are in our thoughts and prayers. Megan loved those children, and so we will show you love for her."
Megan also worked as a volleyball coach at Central Oregon Volleyball Club, where in her first year coaching, she turned down payment so that the money could go to the families of the players who could not afford to play. She was a selfless, beloved teacher, sister, and daughter who will be deeply missed.
Megan deserved better, and we will always fight in her honor.

With another school shooting, this time in Bend, Oregon, it might be a good time to point out that Bill Clinton’s assault weapons ban almost halved mass shooting deaths - but after George W Bush & Republicans let it expire, mass shooting deaths more than doubled. It’s the guns.

During perestroika, the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and the decline of the 1990s, some of Korzhev departed from his realist style. On the one hand, he painted Biblical themes; on the other, Bosch-esque monsters representing what he considered social decline that occurred as society departed from Soviet values.
In the late 1990s, Korzhev refused a state award:
"I was born in the Soviet Union and sincerely believed in the ideas and ideals of the time. Today, they are considered a historical mistake. Now Russia has a social system directly opposite to the one under which I, as an artist, was brought up. The acceptance of a state award would be equal to a confession of my hypocrisy throughout my artistic career. I request that you consider my refusal with due understanding."
